Café Fokus — Restaurant in Vienna

Cafe Fokus has everything you would expect in a perfect specialty/third wave coffee shop. The atmosphere is spot on with vines growing along the brick fascade and windows, while they also make thoughtful use of the space with a clever 2nd floor directly above the serving area that is dimly lit, inviting in the light from the outside.

Speakers placed above the doors play smooth & groovy jazz music, and the baristas are some of the friendliest I've seen.

I ordered a double espresso and an espresso tonic, while my wife had a flat white. All of them were excellent which served as no suprise to me.

doubtless one of the best coffee spots of Vienna! I mean they serve NOMAD Coffee - how amazing is that? So the Coffee there is truly special, they brought it to perfeccion! Magnifique! is maybe the word you are looking for if you go there and will be asked how it was.

Besides the really tasty and amazing Coffee they brew, the Crew behind the shelter should not be unmentioned. Especially Florent is such a lovely Guy, with just the right feeling and humor for a nice little smalltalk - But one of the nice kind of smalltalks, not the awkward ones.

Wonderfully crafted coffee, with top-notch beans. This place works with Nomad beans, which guarantees a well above average coffee experience. There is one espresso, one batch brew and several filters in offer. The baristas know what they are doing. I probably arrived too late as the showcase was empty, but it looks that pastries are also served. Note that there is not WC in the place, so do not come with an emergency(Edited: the owners confirm there is WC available, my fault!).
