Vienna Porcelain Manufactory Augarten — Attraction in Vienna

The Augarten Porcelain has been around for a long time! The quality of the porcelain is very high, and after the tour and museum visit, I now understand why - everything in the process of making the porcelain pieces is done by hand!

I would recommend taking the tour, and not just visiting the museum. The tour is in German, but there are also headsets available in English. The tour is given by a worker in the porcelain factory, and you get to go through the actual working spaces of the workers at the factory.

I used a NÖ Card / Gutschein for the tour and museum visit, which I found fine for. For me, the normal price of the tour and museum seems high (17,00€ per person), but so are the prices of the Augarten porcelain pieces. Although beautiful, it is not in my budget to purchase.

Porcelana z Augarten jest wyrabiana ręcznie, jest to bardzo precyzyjna i żmudna technika,ręczne malowanie,są to piękne ekskluzywne rzeczy począwszy od zestawów stołowych, serwisów do kawy, lamp,figurek.W muzeum możemy obejrzeć ciekawą ekspozycję i zapoznać się z procesem powstawania tych wszystkich pięknych przedmiotów, w sklepiki można kupić jakiś drobiazg na pamiątkę, jednak takie wyroby nie są tanie, ale jeśli weźmie się pod uwagę, ile pracy wymaga wykonanie wszystkich tych rzeczy,to nie ma się czemu dziwić, że ceny też są wysokie,to są naprawdę ...

Das Porzellan dort liebe ich! Aber hier direkt bei der Manufaktur wurde ich derart schlecht und unfreundlich (Am Sa 1.Jun) von der dort für den Verkauf zuständigen Dame behandelt... Nicht die feine WienerArt...

Trotz Augenkontakt und ein "Guten Tag" von mir beim betreten der Räumlichkeit ...kein Grüßen von der Dame ...werde einfach ignoriert... Der freundliche Verkaufshelfer (war sehr nett und bemüht(deshalb 2 Sterne und nicht eine), aber leider noch nicht sehr vertraut und unsicher, benötigt Unterstützung von der Verkaufsdame, die aber leider ungenügend hilft!) bemühte sich sehr meine Fragen für die Geschenk-sets zu beantworten, doch als er meine Frage, ob das Geschenk-set welches im Online-Shop verkauft wird auch gebe, versuchte er diese Frage über die Dame zu klären. Daraufhin wurde der Helfer und ich angepöbelt, dass es solches nicht gibt und rein nur die Ausgestellten Stücke verkauft werden! Zitat "Nein das gibt es nicht!!! Ich kenne mich aus!!!" Zitat Ende. Nachdem ich auf meinem Smartphone den Onlineshop öffnete und das Produkt zeigte wurde ich mit raschen Handbewegungen abgewimmelt. Zitat "na des gibt's nicht! Das gibt es nicht zum kaufen...aber sie können's gern dort zum kaufen probieren...(und dreht sich provokant ab)...
