Food-wise: This was the best pizza my boyfriend and I have tried (we haven't been to Italy though, so we can't make that kind of comparison), but in our experience (Brazil, Netherlands, Germany, Portugal and Austria), this was the best pizza. I ordered the Inferno and he ordered Dolce Vita. The salami on mine was delicious and indeed spicy, but not too much in my opinion (I like spicy), so I'd say someone who is not used to spiciness can still eat it. What stood out for us both was the dough of the pizza (super fresh and high quality), how thin it is and well balanced with the filling, and the sauce, delicious and enough so the pizzas weren't dry, they were saucey and delicious.
To drink, we had a apparently Italian soft drink (see picture) and it tasted super fresh, reminded me of a lemonade.
For dessert: we ordered the pistachio pizza and it was also very yummy, nice option for something that is sweet but not overly sweet. It also had some big drops of mascarpone cheese (base for the tiramisu cream and tastes like a very concentrated milk), and it was a delish addition, which also made the pizza well balanced since it isn't sweet. But keep in mind, it's a whoole pistachio pizza. If you want a small dessert, think of another option. My luck: my boyfriend ate most of it because I wouldn't be able to handle the amount of food after eating a whole pizza.
About the place: I've seen some pictures of nice places outside to sit. In our experience, the only place to sit was inside, two tables. It isn't a comfy place to eat at (but the pizzas, oh God how worth it it is!). The tables are right beside the cook who is actively making the pizzas and delivery people come and go very often with the orders. I believe if it is summer or a nice weather outside you will likely find better spots possibly outside. We enjoyed eating there either way, at least once. However, if you're going during winter like my boyfriend and I did, consider having it take away, in case you want to eat it at...
Read morei found out about this pizzeria while working for lieferando, i saw that i got many people ordering from there so i thought that i must try their pizza, after i bought the pizza i thought that it was a hefty price but then i opened the pizza and it looked like a real Italian pizza, then i tried it and i was surprised, the taste is amazing, you should definitely try this pizzeria out, The price is worth it! / This review is after i ordered last time from them on 31st august, asked for a mezzaluna pizza which has champignons on it and when i went to pick up the pizza they said they had no champignons left and put artichokes on it and i was fine with that but when i got home i opened the pizza up and idk what kind of pizza is mezzaluna but i didn't expect it to be 70% crust and for it to look like the map of America, look at the picture and you'll know what i mean, for this mistake i had to drop my review to 3 stars, sorry but this is unacceptable, plus what Pizzeria runs out of...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Pizzeria Pummarò, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm, inviting aroma of freshly baked pizza. The atmosphere was cozy and lively, with a charming rustic décor that made it the perfect spot for a casual meal or a night out with friends.
The menu offered a fantastic variety of pizzas, from classic Margherita to unique gourmet options that showcased creativity and high-quality ingredients. I opted for the wood-fired prosciutto and arugula pizza, and it was nothing short of perfection. The crust was thin and crispy with just the right amount of chew, while the toppings were fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The balance of flavors was spot-on, and you could taste the care and craftsmanship in every bite.
The service was another highlight of the evening. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate...
