Restaurant Athene — Restaurant in Vienna

I was with a group here(11 people) and the owner of the restaurant was at the entrance for interacting with the clients and finding them a table. We asked for a table outside if possible, he didn’t give us a clear answer and then just ignored us having an attitude that was not just unpolite but completely rude for no reason, he behaved like we were not welcomed there. We had to ask a waiter to find us a table inside because we were waiting and it seemed that the owner had no intention to help us. Not to say that the attention to details was missing completely in the restaurant(e.g the cutlery was missing for some people so we had to ask the waiter to bring it). Despite some people complained that the quality of the food decreased compared with previous visits for me it was good(I was there for the first time). Before we left we told the owner that his behaviour was unappropriate but he told us that we are not clients which come regularly there so he doesn’t care about us. Then he just swore us in the greek language - despite we were not speaking the greek language we could understand it. I have no words to describe this attitude, completely unacceptable! Stay away from this restaurant if you have respect...

This is a great hidden spot (restaurant) in the Hills of Vienna Nussdorf. A 10 to 15 minutes walk up from the foreshore of the Danube River into a semi-rural setting. The layout is typical greek-tavern-like with an Austrian alm touch. The staff is very friendly, customer focused, expedient, and approachable. The food is tasty, well presented, and authentic. The price was reasonable, and the entire experience was very enjoyable besides the tremendous humidity and heat (36 degrees). The outside seating is covered and protected from the sun, but there is no ventilation or air conditioning protecting from the sweltering heat. But this did not diminish our overall pleasantly positive experience we had at this countryside, rural Greek restaurant/tavern. I would happily go back...

Very cosy, beautiful restaurant with nice atmosphere! You feel like you are in Greece. Delightful service, attentive waiters, very fresh and tasty food. We took mix of cold and warm starters - which we’re absolutely stunning!!! And for the main dish (as we were many people) we have ordered two of Leonidas Platte für 2 Personen ( Jeweils zwei Lammkoteletts, Hühnerfilets, Lammfilets, Rib-Eye-Steaks mit Erdäpfelscheiben und Tzatziki ) - see video. It was very fresh, soft and super delicious!!! In the end we have also reviewed complements from Restaurant, will leave it as a secret, so it can surprise you! Totally recommend this place, you won’t be disappointed! For me the best greek...
