This good restaurant can deserve six stars in Google review. To sum up of bellowing story, this restaurant provides you three things you probably need to know before you visit: Good location and fantastic view (The six stars review came from here for me) Food was overpriced and overcooked. Waiter was rude!!!!
The story start here. I had dinner there yesterday, and this restaurant was “Amazing” when I searched on the Google reviews (I think I should sorted from low to high, it is because lots of people who gave them the lower stars have the same experience as me.) .
However, when I just entered this “Fantastic” restaurant. The waiter was told me I just have an hour to eat because later had lots of people to reserved. But, actually there still have lots of unreserved tables and I just think okay is fine, I probably will not eat more than an hour because just only me.
I ordered the 32 euros ribs and a small cup of beer to drink. As a student, this is a big meal for me. Nevertheless, I think this is my last day in Vienna, and I want a special dinner for this day. And wow, the interesting part came up! My ribs just got it after I went to the restroom. About 6 minutes? Which really makes you think when it was actually made. Yes, only 6 minutes! That was fantastic efficiency! Everyone was thought this restaurant deliver their meal really fast and is good, yes same as me. However, my first bite of this rib was dried and overcooked. I feel a little disappointed because I spent lots of money for this.
During I eat this “GOOD” ribs, there are two or three times for “GOOD” waiters try to collect my dishes. However, I don’t want to waste the food even though it was not good to eat. Therefore, I refused it and said I want to keep eating. Guess what! I even don’t know why I still eating, they came to my table to collect my food two to three times. In this time, I feel so bad but still finish my dinner.
Now, I will tell everyone the most ridiculous part for this “Beautiful” place. After I finished my dinner, waiter came to collect my dishes and I said “okay I ready to pay.” And the waiter said “Sure, give me a sec.” However, I saw this waiter prepared the payment to another table and for this table was just want to pay after me. I think is okay because he will return immediately. Haha, but he didn’t come back immediately, and he came back to my table about 10 minutes. Sure! So, I turned my face to a little bit angry. Then when I paid, the waiter asked me if he could include a tip, that's absolutely not, today service totally you are not deserved the tips. I knew this is uncommon to not give a tip in Europe and America. Yes! And I will tell you I traveled to lots of countries this is the first time I didn’t give the tips. Above these, I didn’t tell the waiter but I would like to write here to let every know. That’s continuing the sorry, when I didn’t give the tips, the waiter being so rude, saying that which county you didn’t give the tips and I said in Asia. Then, he tried to say something I didn’t get it. And I tried to just leave without any explanation or discussion with this waiter.

Read moreLet me start by saying that the place generally deserves 4.5 stars. They get 3 because of the way they handled a misunderstanding. I went there with a group of 14 friends and we made a several hundred euro bill. I ordered a rare beef fillet stake, same as one of my friends. While my friends stake was perfectly grilled, mine came as medium (at least 3/4 of it, one side was actually rare). Other than that, the taste and quality was great. However this is where they lose 0.5 point, because when I pay 30 euro for a dish, I expect it to be as ordered. Near the end of my dish, I saw something weird in my plate. I took it on the side and showed it to several of my friends trying to understand what it was. I needed to take a zoomed photo before we could conclude it was a spider! I thought I should just ignore it, but after being pushed by my friends, I called a waiter and showed it to him. The response was "I can show it to the cook, but he'll just tell you 'this is the outdoors'...". I was very surprised to hear that, so I insisted he should show it to the cook. At this point I only had a few bites left, but they were the best part of the fillet (I tend to always leave the best for last). The waiter took the plate and never came back!! So I called another waiter and told him the story, showing him the picture of the spider. This one took my phone to the chef on his own initiative. He came back shortly saying "I'm sorry about what happened, but this is the outdoors". Then the following dialogue followed: -"ok, but what about the rest of my food? Did the other guy just throw it out?" -"did you not finish it?" -"no, I had some left" -"ugh..ok.. how much? Was it 100? 200 grams?" -"no, it was 50 or less!!" -"ok, I will get you a piece.." In the end, I got a new plate with a whole fillet, slightly smaller than the first one, but ranging from well-done to overcooked, and they also made me feel like I was trying to steal from them. For this they lose another 1.5 points. We later found more spider husks around, and it seems that indeed it's very common in they area when spiders change their skin. I believe they should have explained this better and not take my initial plate in the first place, or once they did, they should have apologised and brought me something else as a compliment, instead of making me feel like a thief. Other than that, the location and food was indeed great, so it would be unfair to give under 3 stars! :) PS: sorry...

Die Würzmischung schrecklich, die Silberhaut noch dran und komplett trocken. Die Pommes waren gut, das mediterrane Gemüse hervorragend. Die Saucen waren ok. Der Bananensplit war mittelmäßig. Getrocknete Bananen, zähe Schokobananen und Vanilleeis. Würd ich mir keinesfalls wieder bestellen. Warum also 4 Sterne ?! Die Bedienung „Taifun“ war ein Kellner wie man sich ihn wünscht: Nett, kompetent und ist sofort auf mich eingegangen als ich die Spare Ribs bemängelt habe. Meiner Meinung nach eine Bereicherung für den Betrieb. Außerdem habe ich die Speisen meiner Begleitungen probiert. Da wäre das Hamshuka aus Tel Aviv, was wirklich sehr gut geschmeckt hat obwohl ich eigentlich kein Lamm mag und die Créme Brûlée, die ein Traum war. Heute waren wir nach etwa 2 Jahren erneut hier essen. Ich hatte das Carpaccio mit Brotkorb, das Surf and Turf, sowie Créme Brûlée. Zum Steak hatte ich das mediterrane Gemüse, Knoblauchsauce, Zwiebel und Chili. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich, auch wenn es bei den Tischen an der Fensterseite zu viert etwas eng ist. Das Carpaccio war sehr gut, vom Anrichten bis zum Geschmack. Der Brotkorb war ebenfalls ein Traum. Die Brotsorten waren frisch, knusprig und Geschmacklich hervorragend. Die Beilagen waren auch alle sehr gut, wobei ich sagen muss, dass für mich das Mediterrane Gemüse hervorsticht. Geschmacklich und vom Grargrad her harmonisch und köstlich.Die Garnelen waren perfekt gebraten. Das Steak habe ich Medium bestellt, kam Medium-Rare an. Nach kurzem Nachfragen wurde dieses nochmal in die Küche gebracht zum Nachgaren, kam aber daraufhin well done zurück. Nach erneutem Gespräch mit dem Kellner bekam ich ein neues was wieder Medium-Rare ankam. Dieses hab ich dann auch gegessen, wobei die Rare Seite meine Begleitung gegessen hat. Die Entschuldigung dafür war sehr großzügig und damit war die Sache erledigt. Die Qualität vom Fleisch ist 1a, dass hat man bei der Vorspeise wie beim Steak geschmeckt. Die Créme Brûlée war wie beim letzten Mal ein Gedicht. Die Kellner waren sehr kompetent, freundlich und hilfsbereit und ich für meinen Teil war trotz des Steaks so zufrieden das ich die Bewertung nochmal von 4 auf 5...
