Title: Exploring Filipino Flavors at Manila Grill: A Personal Review

Nestled in the heart of Nassau, Bahamas, Manila Grill beckons with the promise of authentic Filipino cuisine that feels like a warm embrace from home. As soon as you step inside, the air is alive with the tantalizing scents of spices and sizzling dishes, instantly transporting you to the bustling streets of Manila.

At Manila Grill, the menu is a treasure trove of Filipino delights, each dish crafted with love and respect for tradition. Whether you're craving the comforting warmth of adobo or the tangy kick of sinigang, there's something to satisfy every palate and evoke fond memories of home-cooked meals.

One of the things that sets Manila Grill apart is its unwavering commitment to authenticity. Every ingredient is carefully selected, every recipe faithfully recreated to capture the true essence of Filipino flavors. Each bite is a symphony of tastes and textures that speaks to the rich culinary heritage of the Philippines.

Stepping into Manila Grill feels like entering a Filipino home, with its warm ambiance and colorful decor. The staff are not just servers; they're like old friends, eager to share their love for Filipino cuisine and ensure that every guest feels welcomed and cherished.

However, it's worth noting that Manila Grill can get quite busy, especially on days when multiple cruise ships are in port. The influx of Filipino crew members adds to the lively atmosphere, but it can also mean longer wait times during peak hours. Nevertheless, the bustling energy only adds to the charm of the place, making it feel like a true taste of the Philippines.

In conclusion, Manila Grill is more than just a restaurant; it's a culinary journey that transports you to the heart of the Philippines. With its authentic cuisine, inviting ambiance, and warm hospitality, Manila Grill is a gem waiting to be discovered by anyone craving a taste of Filipino comfort food in...

Manila Grill was an absolute gem of a find. In the mood for asian food I stumbled across the place and was so welcomed by the owner Lelet, who made me feel like an old friend, which was really special with me being so far away from home.

Authentic, no frills, but incredibly delicious Filipino cuisine with unbelievable hospitality, I had the tosilog - a Filipino take on stir fried bacon (this description really doesn't do it justice), which came with a garlic fried rice, a beautifully done egg and vegetable condiments on the side. Yummy, filling and value for money, clearly cooked and served with the love and care you'd expect from a family run restaurant.

They even gave me advice on where to go, how to be safe at night and invited me to a live band/open mic night on the same day, but sadly it rained pretty heavily after I left and I wasn't able to make it back over before dark. Will definitely go back again when I have the chance, not just for the food, but the smiles, warmth, good conversation and everything else that came...

If you want authentic Filipino/Asian food, Manila Grill is the place to go! They serve big portion sizes which makes it really cost effective. Not to mention, their food is delicious. You can never go wrong with anything in their menu. I tried everything they have.

My favorites are the Sisig, Munggo, Bulalo and Daing na Bangus. I've also always ordered the Halo Halo

They have specialty Filipino desserts and rice cakes that they sometimes sell, but they run out of it quickly, so whenever you spot it, definitely get it

Saturdays they have karaoke / live music night. You should call ahead if you want to come, but it's a great time!

Their meals don't come with rice automatically, so don't forget to order a side of rice! Oh, and I highly recommend their garlic fried rice

They also have a great selection of different local Bahamiam, Filipino and American beers

Highly recommend! You need to try Manila Grill when...

Everytime we go to the Bahamas we make it a point to stop by this Filipino Restaurant. It is a small restaurant that is located close to the port. We ordered pork sinigang, kare kare, pork bbq, sisig, chicharong bulaklak. We were all filled up. After just a night of food from the cruise it is still good to have Filipino food. Most of their customers are filipino crew from different cruise lines. Some locals were there and Filipinos who lived in the island. We are happy to see this restaurant busy and thriving in the Bahamas. The staff in the restaurant were very accomodating as well. Even in a very busy time of the day, they made sure we get seated and got our orders taken cared of right away. I hope that you will also have a chance to visit the place.

The only Filipino restaurant you want to go to in Nassau, Bahamas. Honestly, I don’t know if there are other Filipino restaurants, but Manila Grill is close to Atlantis and the food is spot on. You can’t go wrong with ginitaang kalabasa sitaw with garlic rice. Your OGs: tapsilog, longsilog, and tocilog with garlic rice as well were good. I also ordered their sago at gulaman. It was very sweet so I just let the ice melt to dilute before I could drink. It was very refreshing especially in the Bahamian weather. Finally, can’t leave without having some halo-halo. They pack it with the goods instead of just a bunch of shaved ice. I ordered flan as well, but it just tastes better in halo-halo. Until next time, Manila Grill!
