We stopped in Nassau while on a cruise and wanted to try a few local cocktails not made on the ship.

It's down a little alleyway with lots of little stores but it's easy to find. There's a nice vibe about this place and it's also good for people watching.

Out waitress was nice and friendly and hleped with drink recommendations. I had to try the Bahamas Mama since we were in the Bahamas :-) It was very good but a tad sweet. I asked if the next one could be a little less sweeter (it was 2 for 1) and she obliged. My husband got a Bahamian version of a Long Island iced tea and it was very good. His other cocktail (I forget what it was) was also pretty good.

We didn't eat but what we saw looked good. Next time we're in the Bahamas we'll have to...

As someone who frequents Nassau, The Bearded Clam has become my absolute favorite spot. The food is consistently fantastic, and the drinks are strong and well-crafted. Special shoutout to Verline, Katura, and Manager Becky for their amazing service—they truly make you feel like family.

The prices are great, offering excellent value for such homestyle food and powerful drinks! The island vibe and friendly atmosphere make it a perfect place to relax and enjoy the local culture. It's comfortable, welcoming, and always a good time.

I highly recommend The Bearded Clam to anyone visiting Nassau. You won't be disappointed. Check them out—you'll feel right at home! They are located directly across from the...

I recently visited The Bearded Clam Sports Bar & Restaurant in Nassau and had an exceptional experience. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to unwind. The conch fritters were delicious, and the Bahama Mama cocktail was refreshing. Our server, Verline, went above and beyond, managing our large party with ease and ensuring everyone felt well taken care of—she was one of the best servers we’ve ever had!

The location is super convenient, right off the port and within walking distance, making it an easy choice for cruise travelers. It’s also a much better option than Senor Frogs when it comes to price, experience, and the crowd. If you’re in Nassau, don’t miss out on...

We stopped in for lunch. The Bearded Clam did not disappoint! Excellent food! It was our first time having Conch fritters. They were great. My wife had the coconut shrimp, the best she's ever had. I had the shrimp tacos which were delicious. Drinks were above average and didn't skimp on alcohol. On a side note there was a visitor (yes this is an open air bar/restaurant) little fella came out to get a drink after it just rained. One of the workers dispatched it quickly. I laughed and thought it was funny, my wife on the other hand wasn't so enthused. All in all it made a memorable visit with some great food! The staff and service were great! Also be sure to ask about the side of bikini wax for $10.

The service is friendly but it takes a long time to get your takeout order. The portion of conch ceviche is rather small. It seems like they provide the chips to hide that. The conch ceviche is also mediocre. It's fresh and the conch is tender but there's not enough acidity. It made me really miss the conch salad from the fella that used to sell it out of his boat at the pier, near Senor Frogs. The cracked conch/conch fingers were fried nicely and delicious. Im happy they told me that you coould place the order without sides. The dipping sauce was also tasty. I would get the cracked conch again.
