That said, there were minor imperfections. The falafel, while flavorful, lacked the creamy interior I’ve come to expect, suggesting it might have been frozen rather than freshly made. Additionally, the giouvetsi (orzo) was slightly overcooked, though it still carried the rich, comforting flavors of the dish.

Despite these small critiques, Meze Grill is a must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience. It’s a place that caters to all—families, friends, and couples alike. We’re not normally ones to complain, but tonight it seemed to just snowball. We were highly anticipating this restaurant, as TripAdvisor has it ranked #2 out of 339, but we were sorely disappointed. Not that we cared, but even our driver said all the politicians go here for dinner and/or drinks, so we had high hopes. However, the food was mediocre at best and lukewarm when we received it. I will say, even though it was cold, the filet cooked to medium rare, was the perfect pink and even a little more rare in spots. In regards to the service though, it was horrible and it felt as if we were a burden. We got stuck in the corner by the bathroom and forgotten for periods of time, it was baffling. Our son had spilt his drink early on so we used all of our napkins to clean and dry the table off. More than 10 minutes passed before we were checked on afterwards. Once our server finally came over, I tried asking for another lemonade for our son, napkins, since we now had none, nor were offered more after the spill, and before I could ask for more water and a refill for my husband, she turned and started to walk away. I stopped talking, as she seemed to care less, and she finally turned around and said “you can keep talking”, but it completely killed what little good mood was left. When we finally got our food, it was lukewarm and my son’s cheeseburger was missing. A few minutes go by, still no burger and server finally came by and said the burger had been overcooked and would be out in a few more minutes. We started eating, as food was already not hot when delivered, and we shared with our son so he’d have some food too. There was no urgency and his burger was delivered when we were almost done eating our meals. Lastly, we sat there with empty stacked plates for 15+ minutes before having to wave her down for a box for our son and the ticket. During our recent visit to Meze Grill, we had an amazing dining experience, thanks to our exceptional waitress, Lizette. From the moment we arrived, she was warm, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect meal.

We ordered the filet mignon and lamb chops, and both were cooked to perfection. The filet was tender and full of flavor, while the lamb chops were perfectly seasoned and juicy. The sides complemented the meal beautifully—creamy mashed potatoes, crispy fries, fresh broccoli, and the restaurant’s signature potatoes. Every bite was delicious, and the quality of the ingredients truly stood out.
