This is a Tex-Mex restaurant that has been around since 2007. Probably was one of the first Mexican / Tex-Mex restaurants of its time. Itās located in a small plaza by a residential area in Juffair. A little bit hidden and small so you could miss it. Decor is a little bit outdated and the seats were a bit broken but it was still fine. The waitress Jackelin was very accommodating to me, was very respectful to me and always checked on me to make sure I had a good dining experience.
They brought out complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were hot which was good but tasted okay, as well as the salsa, didnāt taste like normal red salsa but then again itās an older Tex-Mex restaurant. I ordered a platter for 2 that came with Nachos which were pretty decent, jalapeƱo poppers which were okay, mozzarella sticks which I love no matter what. My favorite food there was the Chicken Finger sticks, they tasted really good. I had 2 beef machaca tacos, they tasted just okay. The food tasted as you would expect it to taste with it being an older smaller Tex-Mex place. They could use fresher and higher quality ingredients. Their Frozen Mango Lemonade was pretty good too. Decent.
Thank you so much Franks A Lot. I wish you years of continued prosperity.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe love Tex-Mex food, itās grilled, tasty and spicy which is similar to our local way of preparing our dish.
We tried this not so new restaurant in Juffair - Franks a Lot, Tex Mex Restaurant to go. They have many items on the menu which makes us say what? (weāre a fan of simple easy menu). Lots of varieties and combination to choose from. We had Tex-Mex chicken rice bowl and soft taco chicken fajita. Both are really good and tasty š„° the size of serving is good and makes us totally full. The price is similar to other restaurant serving same cuisine, in short in between of pricy and affordable. Service is great, the waitress is helpful choosing what to try on the menu and serving our simple needs. Place is small, as they said itās a to go meal, inside ABC mall in Juffair.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis has the opportunity to become great but falls short; the steak burrito is amazing BUT the steak within it is completely inedible its too chewy and hard reminds me of tough game meat. If you had used better quality steak or meat within your burritos this would have been a 5 star review, furthermore i ordered the mango lemonade (which arrives iced) and a straw was not supplied and nor did i have access to a straw, because of this i poped the lid off and started drinking it out of the cup unfortunately my tooth due to the cold š„¶ became so sensitive and painful that i couldnt sleep at night, i mean noone should loose sleep over a meal but unfortunately i had. Thank you but please fix the meat issue and advise me when you have so i can...
