Fish & Co. Bangladesh: A Seafood Symphony 🌊🐟🍤 Imagine stepping into a cozy coastal haven where the salty breeze dances with the tantalizing aroma of freshly cooked seafood. Fish & Co. Bangladesh is not just a restaurant; it’s a maritime adventure waiting to unfold. Nautical Ambiance: As you cross the threshold, the wooden floors echo the gentle creak of a ship at sea. The walls are adorned with weathered fishing nets, vintage anchors, and sepia-toned photographs of intrepid fishermen. Soft lanterns sway like buoys, casting warm, golden light on the tables. You half expect to hear seagulls outside, even though you’re miles away from the shore. The Catch of the Day: The menu reads like a sailor’s logbook, chronicling the ocean’s bounty. Start with the Captain’s Platter: a treasure trove of crispy calamari, succulent prawns, and flaky fish fillets. Each bite transports you to the salty spray of the open sea. And oh, the Seafood Paella—a saffron-infused symphony of mussels, clams, and prawns nestled in a bed of saffron rice. It’s a fiesta for your taste buds. Shipshape Service: The crew—our waitstaff—are seasoned sailors. They navigate the dining room with precision, their smiles as warm as a sun-kissed beach. They’ll regale you with tales of the day’s catch, making you feel like an honorary member of the crew. Oceanic Elixirs: Quench your thirst with a Blue Lagoon—a turquoise concoction that mirrors the sea on a cloudless day. Or perhaps a Mango Tango, where ripe mangoes pirouette with crushed ice and a hint of mint. And don’t miss the Fisherman’s Brew, a hearty seafood chowder that warms your soul. Dessert Isle: Save room for dessert! The Salted Caramel Seafood Sundae is a revelation: vanilla ice cream crowned with caramelized bananas, chunks of buttery fish-shaped cookies, and a drizzle of salted caramel. It’s like a sweet tide pulling you deeper into bliss. Fish & Co. Bangladesh isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a maritime tale spun in flavors and textures. So, my fellow food adventurer, set sail for this seafood sanctuary and let the waves of taste carry you...
Read moreOne of the best dinner that I had was here last week. The prices are really high but if you still want to try good seafood while forgetting about the price, this is definitely worth it :v I have previously tried fish and chips from manhattan fish market many times, (on offer price though xD) which was my personal favorite thing to try. But was thinking about trying some other sea food also than fish and chips. So gathered enough courage to finally come here with family.
We took seafood chowder and another item from the summer special menu as starters. I forgot the name of the item. It was small pieces of dory fried with mustard sauce. For the mains we took the switzerland 🇨🇭 fish and chips which was recommended by the waiter. We also took the feast platter, and another combo platter. Where we got to choose between two sides (we chose mashed potato and paella rice) one combo where we chose white fish with lemon butter, and finally chose a premium side, where we chose golden fried fish.
Instead of mentioning each items and explaining, overall I would like to say, all of the items were really good and unique on their own way. Though the rice were a bit bland but I think it makes sense, as if it wasn’t like that it would make the fish look bland and ordinary. So I actually liked it as it was. Well, the Mashed potato being such bland didn’t feel good. I wish it was a bit more flavorful. Mussels were smaller in sizes. Could’ve been bigger. Or more in numbers. Another thing, I would like to mention is I felt combo deals were value for money. As you get to try two fish in this price. Besides the rice is plenty in all of the platters, so combo deals can be shared between two...
Read moreI was craving seafood for quite a while. I blame my instagram reels for that. The constant bombardment of seafood related content made me look up the best seafood in Dhaka. Fish & Co. came up many times. Their platters looked so delecious! I went there today and I have to say I was dissapointed across the board. First, when you walk into a restaurant as expensive as this, you expect a warm greeting. But that was not the case. The restaurant was on the smaller side and honestly it felt like a cafe rather than a dining restaurant. Next comes the service, the servers dont greet you with a smile or have any warmth in their demeanour. They all had indifferent faces and cold expressions. When you pay 5700+ bdt at a restaurant by ordering just a single platter and 2 drinks, you expect some minimal courtesy. They could have offered us a simple welcome drink! The tables dont have any condiments! nothing! no mayo, no ketchup, no sour cream!
Now comes the food. We ordered the Seafood Platter in the pic priced at 4799bdt. It looks good but tastes bland! The price is not justified. I felt like just because potato is now 10tk kg. half of the platter was french fries. There were 10 shrimps. Only 6 very small and weak looking mussels. The fish fillet fry was bland. The rice was bland and little in quantity. The only thing I liked was the calamari. I finished the food only because it was so expensive. Otherwise I would've left it.
I will not crave seafood for a...
