Read moreBeen there twice in the last month, once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times I had guests with me. First time for lunch we were three, arrived at 3:45 PM, the waiter rudely mentioned that the kitchen promptly closes at 4:00 PM, so we should rush when ordering. Their schedule says they're open till 4:30 PM. Why the rush? I specifically and very politely requested the waiter to bring our beverage and appetizer first. They brought all the food at the same time! We actually had to eat spring rolls and fried rice together! Why call it an appetizer, if it's served as an entree? Do they know the difference between an appetizer and an entree? They seem to dump all the food at the same time, not understanding the concept of a meal consisting of several courses. Fried chicken was black in color. Not the golden crispy brown one expects at a Thai/Chinese restaurant.
I decided to give them a second chance. During my next visit we were seated next to the main entrance! Who wants that? We ordered fish cake and vegetable fried rice. Fish cake was hard, rubbery and even difficult to cut with a dinner knife! Dry and tasted like I was attempting to slice tyre rubber. Very little average tasting sauce to go with it. Fried rice was dry, bland and flavorless, no vegetables. I asked the waiter for a little soy sauce on the side and his facial expression was worth an Oscar; eventually I was given about 1 teaspoon of soy sauce in the smallest possible serving dish. Talk about cutting corners! Every Thai/Chinese restaurant everywhere on the planet has a soy sauce bottle on the table! I wouldn't rate their service as excellent either. No follow-up, everytime we needed something, we had to call someone and literally beg for any item/service.
Not going back, nor do I recommend anyone to...
