Sky Pool Restaurant — Restaurant in Dhaka Metropolitan

With a lot of expectations i go there. So here are my thoughts. First part: The Environment It wasn't a very big place. I wanted to have a poolside dinner but there was no sitting arrangements, so i ask them about that and they set a table for two . Thanks for that, though there wasn't enough lights. So overall i would give it a 4/10 nb: there was a under construction part beside our table. Second part : The Food journey Ok there is a reason i called it a journey because i took the Buffet dinner offer. Lets start. We stared with soup . Then sushi,sandwich and salad. The worst part was everything was cold as f. It was really disappointing. Then we tried the bbq section. From there i only like the prawn. Chicken bbq was horrible and beef stake was..... i forgot how it was. After i only tasted boiled fish, grilled chicken, lamd,beef stu, vegetable biriany, and i dont like any of it From the vey beginning i was hoping for a desert ride and it didn't go well. It was beautiful from outside. Thats it about food . I will give it a 2/10 because of the prawn and the bottled mineral water. Third part: The PRICE The dinner buffet was 3500bdt net per person. Had to arrange an event for the company I'm working in and they were very co-operative in helping me set the venue, menu. They offered suggestions for the event planning we had. They were also immediate respondent to any issues we had. Liked the ambience, cooperation, service. About the food: We chose the Asian Buffet menu- 5. The appetizers include wonthon and thai soup. The wonthon was crispy which perfectly blended with the thick soup. There were different kinds of salads. Among the entrees, Malaysian chicken stay tasted the best. The steamed fish fillet and beef comes next in line. The grilled prawn was good too. The rice was a bit off compared to other amazing dishes. The desserts included pudding, tart, fruit slices, cake. The ambience is superb! The restaurant is located on the rooftop with an open terrace and a pool.

The food is great. They serve a superb buffet spread including seafood and the likes. The staff is awesome. Mehedi leads with a team consisting of Mohsin, Pavel, Chef Lalon, Chef Sony, Chef Bhowmick, Chef Rajib. They do an awesome smack on job at suggesting what to eat and are a lovely set of hosts.

The dining experience is wonderful with fresh crabs and prawns and a variety of options. The mutton nihari soup was superb.

The scenery from the restaurant is awesome and you get to see the Indian, US and Canada embassies from the rooftop. The live grill is active. Live music is played every Thursday and Friday.
