Went to Bistro-E this afternoon for a late birthday lunch. Was absolutely blown away by their impeccable service and amazing food. They brought out my cake with a candle and played happy birthday on the speakers, so that was sweet!

🌀Their Slider Fest platter was hands down one of the best things I’ve ever eaten in BD. The platter comes in 4 or 8. We ordered it in 4. It contained a dory slider, a prawn slider, a merguez slider (lamb, I reckon) and a signature beef slider. The merguez & the signature were my fav but the other two were also excellent. Soft yet sturdy buns, crunchy lettuce, fresh slices of tomato, salty dill pickles, flawlessly executed patties, creamy tartar sauce, slightly sweet & spicy harissa mayo - altogether an incredible experience.

🌀 Their Seafood Basket usually contains Prawn Croquettes, Fish n Chips, Fries and Salt n Pepper Squid. However, they were out of squid, so we were served Chicken Pops instead. The fries were thick and hand-cut, fried to perfection, went amazingly well with the tartar sauce and the harissa mayo. The fish n chips (fried Dory) was crispy on the outside and super moist on the inside. The prawn croquettes were deep fried till golden brown, maybe fried a little more than necessary, nevertheless, tasted amazing. The chicken pops were delicious but a bit on the drier side. The portion was more than enough for 2.

🌀 The Strawberry Shortcake was simple but delicious. It had fresh strawberries on top. The sponge cake was a little dense; I prefer it more airy, but the strawberry filling inside and the silky smooth whipped cream on the outside made up for it. It was enough for 2.
