Budget Authentic Thai Fried Calamari- Soft and chewy deep fried squid rings with bread crumb batter coating served with house special sauce. The consistency and seasoning was fine but it was too oily for my liking. Price BDT 390+ Stir-fried Chili Paste Chicken- Thai basil chicken curry with onion, garlic and bell pepper served with Jasmine Rice & Spring Roll. The curry was rich and creamy, sweet, spicy, umami flavour with strong fragrance of basil pairs perfectly with the simple rice, fills you up without making you feel bloated. The spring roll is a good side with crispy, flaky wrapper and fresh fillings. Price BDT 390+ Crab Rangoon- My favourite from them!Deep fried crispy wontons with rich, creamy with hint of sweetness, delicate crab & cream cheese filling served with house special sauce. It was so good on it’s own that I preferred it without the dip. Price BDT 370+ Papaya Salad- Fresh, crunchy green papaya, long beans, tomatoes, peanuts with tantalizing combination of spicy, sweet, salty, and sour chilli-lime dressing. Has a spicy kick to it, my only complaint was that it needed more peanuts. Price BDT 350+ Shrimp Cake- Six deep fried shrimp patties with crispy exterior, succulent, lemony inside served with house special sauce. Price BDT 390+ STICKY RICE WITH COCONUT ICE CREAM- The combination of soft, chewy, sweet and salty sticky rice with the dense, sweet coconut milk sauce and creamy, smooth, refreshing coconut ice cream is perfect! In one line, a hot, cold, sweet and savoury comfort dessert. Price BDT 310+

**Second Visit Review** This was my second visit to the restaurant. The ambiance and service continue to be good, which I appreciate. However, the food still doesn't meet expectations. We ordered the **Basil Rice**, which lacked the essential basil flavor. While the portion size was decent, the taste was quite average. In comparison, another restaurant named *Khanas* offers much better basil rice in the same price range. The **Spicy Basil Chicken** was okay, but the quantity felt insufficient for two people. It lacked the punch of bold spices that you'd expect from a Thai dish—it could use a lot more heat and flavor. The most disappointing item was the **Khao Soi**. Everything about it felt off—the noodles, the soup, and the chicken were all underwhelming. The coconut flavor was too strong and dominated the dish. The chicken portion was just fine but didn’t stand out in taste. The noodles seemed like standard packaged ones, not the type you'd expect in a dish like this. The crispy noodles were the only saving grace. **Overall**, considering the pricing, the food did not live up to the mark. The place certainly has potential, but the kitchen needs to explore more authentic options and refine their recipes. A quick note: the **menu layout** can be confusing due to the placement of pictures. It might help to redesign it for better clarity. On a positive note, the **Mint Lemon Mojito** was excellent. That drink alone helped me get through the meal.

Title: Mixed Feelings After Iftar ExperienceReview:I visited this restaurant for iftar on a Thursday, excited to break my fast with a good meal. Unfortunately, the experience didn't quite meet my expectations. The food, especially the fried items, was cold by the time it reached our table, and honestly, they were disappointing. The quality left much to be desired, prompting an "oh my God" reaction due to their poor taste. Additionally, the fruits served during iftar were of low quality, which was quite a letdown during such a crucial meal of the day. On a positive note, the service staff was incredibly friendly, providing a silver lining to the dining experience. Their warm and welcoming attitude was the only aspect that lived up to my expectations and is commendable. The restaurant itself is quaint and small, which gives it a certain charm. One unique feature is its smoking zone, from where you can get a full view of Shatmashjid Road, offering a nice urban vista while you dine. In conclusion, while the server’s friendliness was a high point, the quality of the iftar meal was a significant drawback. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback to heart and improves the food quality and temperature, as the atmosphere and service certainly have potential.
