Royal bbq Chicken — Restaurant in Dhaka Metropolitan

The service was really disappointing, our dinner came very late about 25 whole minutes, only one soup was placed in between 6 of my guests, 15 minutes after that the first meal was served. The waiters were busy at the till (given we were late ish for the meal) 10:15pm . Several other meals came in at different times, my employees meals got cold while my meal came in. Then came the billing part. I paid the full amount then one of us realised the she didn't get her hot beverage and 2 drinking water. Very good, I checked the receipt, the price was included but the food was not served. Lastly, some important documents got damaged due to the sticky table situation. I spoke to the manager about it. His explanation was, we spray the tables with sanitizers which are oily and sticky and we are very sorry for the inconvenience, we suggested the table tops to have glass sheet in order to prevent such disasters but the manager promptly responded with " management don't approve the table tops". Well I was a long time lover of BBQ. But I'm not bringing any of my respected guests in BBQ...

If there's one thing they know how to do right, they know how to make meat nice and tender. Cooking meat for the right amount of time, at the right intensity of heat, at the right temperature is a feat that not many people are knowledgeable about. I make very tender chicken breasts at home, so I know.

Additionally, the food was pretty good though. But the wrap and mushroom soup was sort of underwhelming. A bit lacking in flavor and the wrap did not feel stuffed enough. The wrap reminded me of the wraps I've had from Texas Chicken (at least they were more stuffed).

For the price I paid, I expected more. The mushroom soup was pretty thin and tasted too milky. It felt like it was just a whole bunch of heavy cream with some pieces of mushrooms here and there. I didn't really notice any other flavor (if there was any) because the milky-ness was very dominant in the soup. But in my opinion, the rest of the food was...

Went there for iftar platter and was disappointed. However decided to pay another visit this time and tried their vegetable rice with korean charbroiled chicken grill and was blown away! It was a bit pricey that's for sure. However they did provide us with a tasty meal. This time again they suffered harshly with their rice item. Otherwise the grill had a really subtle taste. Combination of punchy and mild taste, loved it! The chicken was soft, tender and it melted in my mouth providing the tingling sensation of the mild spices. The skin was just a little bit of crispy, which took it to even a different level. But again a bit pricey. The staffs behaved very friendly and were very hospitable. They also provided a soothing ambiance with their music that would not get to your head but would rather soothe your tired mind. So a 4 star only because the rice...
