May 2005 My wife and I visited Zafran Restaurant early in the morning for breakfast after a bike ride, and it turned out to be a great experience. We ordered their special beef khichuri, beef paya, and milk tea—and all of it was truly satisfying.
The special beef khichuri was the highlight. They mentioned the portion is meant for 1:1, but honestly, it was more than enough for two people. The quantity was generous, and the taste was absolutely delicious—soft, flavorful, and rich with perfectly cooked beef. As a bonus, they served a piece of begun bhaja (fried eggplant) with it, which complemented the dish really well.
The beef paya was also enjoyable—tender and full of flavor, perfect for a hearty breakfast. The environment was nice and clean, with a peaceful vibe that made the early morning meal even more pleasant.
As for the service, I’d rate it 7 out of 10. It was decent, but there’s definitely room for improvement
Finally, the milk tea—a perfect ending to the meal. It was rich, smooth, and one of the best we’ve had in a while.
Overall, a great breakfast spot. Highly recommended for beef...

Read moreZafran is one of the finest restaurants in Uttara. Me and my friends are going to Zafran since 2018. We mainly went there to try their special Kacchi. The Kacchi is prepared with a moderate size single piece mutton, few chucks of Potato and one boiled Egg. Kacchi is extremely flavourful and each and individual rice is covered with ample amount of delicious spice. You can ask for plum chutney along with it which is complementary. Zafran also serves beef, kalabhuna, dal khashi (mutton coocked with pulse), chicken jhal fry, mutton leg roast, chicken roast, fish items etc. Their choice of kebab items are also vast and each items looks extremely delicious. Although we mainly tried their Kacchi but we are planning to go again In Sha Allah to test the other items in future. If you are new to the area I would like to suggest you to go there and explore their meal choices. From Housebuilding or Abdullahpur it easy to to go there on rickshaw, and from Abdullahpur Switchgate you can go...
