One week ago, I went with my girlfriend to Bavet, which is a pasta bar in Antwerp. We had already heard good stories from friends so we wanted to discover it ourselves.

The food is delicious. When you go to Bavet, you should take the homemade pasta Bolognaise. the Bolognaise sauce is lovely and prepared in the traditional Italian way. Furthermore, the tiramisu is delicious too. It is a sweet dessert with a nice coffee flavour.

The service in this restaurant is good. You are served very quickly and the staff is very friendly. On arrival, you are helped straight to your table and you don't have to wait long for your food and drinks.

The price is good for the quality that you receive. You pay €15 for pasta Bolognaise and €2 for a soft drink which is a very good price, especially if you are a student and you don’t have a big budget. You eat delicious food for a good price at Bavet!

In short, I recommend this pasta bar if you are a student or if you love pasta. The food is delicious and the price is more than fair. The service is kind and fast. it's worth going here and I will...

If you're craving a hearty plate of spaghetti, this place hits the spot. The portion was seriously generous – easily enough to satisfy even the biggest appetites. The sauce was rich and flavorful, clinging perfectly to every strand of pasta, and the parmesan on top was a nice touch.

Allready went to Bavet once before @eilandje. We tought to give it a try @Nationalestraat. The place was completely empty .. so we were immediately being served. Very very good service and off course awesome food. We took a starter and ate everything very slow but that was fine for them. Also tried one off the cocktails (cosmopolitan). As pasta we tried one of the specials (Kenny the Phoenix) and we create one ourselves very simply (the say cheese) Very tasty en beautifully served. I like the place a little more than the one @eilandje. Just because it's bigger and more comfortable sitting here....
