Updated Review (Previously 5 Stars, Now 3/5 Stars)
Update: Had to revise my glowing 5-star review after last night's ranch incident.
The burgers here are still genuinely tasty – juicy, well-seasoned, and worth the visit. And yes, there's likely to be a bit of a wait, but I used to think that just meant they were taking care with the food. Apparently they're slow-cooking each patty individually over a campfire somewhere in the back.
What knocked this down from my previous 5-star rating was the Great Ranch Embargo of last Tuesday. My friend ordered a salad that arrived with what I can only describe as a homeopathic amount of ranch dressing – basically ranch that had been diluted to the point where it retained only the memory of being ranch. When we politely asked for more, we were met with a firm "no." I thought maybe they charge extra, so I asked if we could buy another side.
"No."
I'm still not entirely sure what ranch did to personally offend Manhattan's Burger, but they are clearly holding a serious grudge. The ranch rationing policy remains one of the great mysteries of modern dining.
Used to be a solid 5-star spot, but arbitrary condiment restrictions have me reconsidering my loyalty. Good burgers, decent atmosphere, and an inexplicable war against salad dressing.

The staff greeted me with their name after asking for my name for the order, they prepare your drink with care and according to your preference, Sami, you the man. They also give you a little wet wipe to clean your hands after your food, which is always very appreciated.
Now we do have to talk about the food. Unfortunately the beef, though it tasted fine, was a bit dry. I ordered the empire cheeseburger without any veggies, which could have added to the dryness, but my girlfriend who isn't a picky eater also experienced it. The burger was also a bit bland. It could definitely use a lot more seasoning and cheese. Besides that the fries were good, we got the godfather fries, the secret sauce does add a lot, so does the red spice mix on the tables. A light dusting (and a heavy dusting of salt) really make them great.
Now, let's talk money. I think, that for the food as it is, the price is a little high. Me and my partner shared a large drink (which is just 2 smalls but don't let them know I told you that) and ate a burger with fries for almost 50 euros. To some that seems fair, to me thats a bit too much to deem this a go-to burger place. If the burger was up to par, it would definitely be worth it, especially the great service and...
