Primark — Local services in Antwerp

We visited the lady pajamas section around 6.30pm yesterday,28 May. We saw many cute printing pajamas set( tshirt with short) all the sets are folded with paper band. There are no samples displayed for customers to see the size specifications. We tried to see if there’s any loose set that are already disbanded to see the size and the cut or print of the set so that we don’t have to disband the neatly banded set. There are few lady staffs standing near that department folding all the loose clothing that were seen/opened up by other customers during the day. When we were there trying to look for the sizes , the lady staff came over and asked us what size we were looking for. My friend told her either M or L. She took a set in M size of different print and show us the size, telling us theirs size specs are all the same. However , the set we are keen is of different print. When we wanted to see another size in L, she refused to show us and tell us is slightly bigger.

When we were trying to look for any other loose set in L size, a blond hair lady staff came over and rudely yelled at us with her pointing fingers and said, “don open anymore. No opening,” We were stunned.

In the first place we did not even opened any “banded” set , we were trying to look for any opened set to see the size. In the end, we walked away without even seeing the actual printing on the set .

After we walked away, we started to feel mistreated. My friend was very furious after recalling the incident, she walked back to the section and ask the lady to show her a L size since she was not allowed to touched the product.

The store should look into reviewing their display policy.

1. If they don want customers to see the size , please display a full set of their sizes specifications.
2. keep all the stock , only leave one set each print each color each size for the customer to see, and when the customer find their right size and right print, they approach the staff to get the stock for them.

How can the blond lady staff expect customer to buy a set without looking at the print overall design of the set ,and when we after seeing M, she said L is slightly bigger?

She should go first re- training and if she is tired of folding all the clothings that was messed up by other customers, perhaps she should ask for a transfer to other departments , such as household display where she doesn’t need to clearing the mess of the clothing created by other customers.

How can the lady expects us to buy a set of pyjamas without allowing us to compare the two sizes and without looking at the whole...

This is a fast fashion retail store with many options: bath wear, night wear, home decor, kids, men, women, and accessories.

You'll immediately notice it's very popular and often packed with shoppers, so I'd recommend visiting outside of peak times like the weekends. This is especially important if you and/or your family gets overstimulated easily. Earplugs are advised.

As for the store itself, it's relatively clean if you consider the amount of shoppers they get. Sometimes you'll find stuff thrown on the floor or hanging in the wrong places. This is a clothing store, so this is bound to happen on busy days.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's very easy to find them as well due to their bright blue jackets. They know what they're doing and have good knowledge of the store.

For the geeks on a budget, there are often multiple collections of geeky and nerdy apparel and accessories. Think Disney, Harry Potter, Naruto, Rick & Morty, Marvel, etc.

Then the quality vs price. Since they sell fast fashion at an insanely low price, don't expect your Primark purchases to last you long. Quality is on the lower side and you'll notice this after one or more wears and washes.

Overall I like this store for what it is but find it too busy to frequent more than once or twice a year. I also don't like indirectly contributing to the environment and underpaid labor abroad, so I personally try to avoid...

We love primark so much we’re there most once a month and we leave with almost 80 to 100€ worth of things for our babies and us and we’re always happy but yesterday was very disappointing I bought two sleep wear for my girls it didn’t fit right I took the tag off by mistake thinking they were alright but I kept it in the bag I took back and the man who work behind the kasa said with an attitude we don’t take this back the tag is out I’m like it wasn’t worn I took it off by mistake but the receipt an the ticket was in the bag I don’t mind the 11€ but I wanted to exchange it for something that That they will wear.
