Read moreOne of the best meals i've had in a very long time! The amuses to start the meal were all full of flavour. The foccacia was light and airy with a crunchy crust! The harmony between the pickled strawberry and jerusalem artichockes was perfect with the sweetnes of the scallops. The warming broth of onions was ideal for the gnocci and shrimps. The fermentes pear sauce was so good with the bbq celariac! And then my favourit dish of the evening, the bril! Cooked to perfection with a sauce made of the toasted bones acompanied with a home made bbq sauce and different sturctures of salsify! Afterwards came the cheese, I dont like blue or moldy cheeses but i was pleasantly suprised by this way of presenting it. It was sweet an nutty and no to overly pungent! The rice pudding was the best ive had in my life, the apple, the saffron it all workded so well! And then to finish an amazing piece of chocolate with a refreshing quenelle of buttermilk ice cream! The staff is friendly and are ready to help you with whatever you need!

The food was delicious - note, there is both a set menu as well as a la carte. The chef suggested I go with the set menu but he would customize it for me so that it would not be too much food since I was dining solo.The menu changes seasonally and I believe he is about to rotate in new dishes but from this menu, my favorites included the amuse bouche, the Lazanki (a Polish dish and absolutely delicious!!), the chef's famous focaccia bread served with a fantastic butter with sea salt and yeast), the Pierogi with caviar and the dessert which was off the a la carte menu - the focaccia ice cream. And, I was also thrilled to see that the restaurant was absolutely packed - and it appeared there were quite a few regulars.
