This place is not only dog friendly, but also cat friendly. I spoke to Marie, Wattman’s house cat, but not the real home cat. She actually belongs to the neighbors, but she is too fond of this cozy brasserie. The boy next door comes to fetch her four times a day, but, stubborn cat as she is, Marie keeps coming back for hugs and attention from the customers.
You can have breakfast here for almost a whole day, while you count the trendy cargo bikes that pass by. A game my pawrents enjoyed playing. Trains full of containers and other freight thundering across the city over the railway bridges, “Tram 11” following its tinkling track to the old center … all very “urban”. And this while you are on a relatively quiet square. It is the perfect start for a weekend...

The place: Small, average decor.
The goods: I had the falafel burger and fries. The burger was solid though I'd prefer one big falafel as opposed to several small ones... makes it easier to eat. The fries were crispy and not at all greasy. My friend also had the burger and liked it while the other two had different dishes and enjoyed them.

Lots of options for sitting inside or out in a nice little neighbourhood; I can see it being a top choice for both a warm and cozy winter afternoon inside or a warm and sunny one out the front I would have eaten if my stomach had space, but hopefully on my next trip to Antwerpen.
