Superb atmosphere and staff! For the 1st time I tried empanadas and they were great! No pictures because it was too good that I forgot to take them 😃 Apparently, in other places, as my group of friends told, the dough is usually thick, but here they were just perfect. Thin dough + generous fillings made a whole difference. Tota sets a high standard for empanadas so I guess from now on I will be very picky about them if I see it somewhere else 😄 Besides empanadas they have nice starters/sides, I ordered sweet potato soup, it was exceptional (creamy enough & rich in flavor). I love coming here as the empanadas are of really good quality. The staff are friendly and the place is quiet and perfect to take a break from the touristic food mile. However, my last visit was a bit disappointing. I chose a cheese and chorizo empanada and a new seasonal one, roquefort with pear and walnuts. Unfortunately the last one was not what I got. I had one with cheese and mushrooms. Can happen. Both empanadas were basically filled to the brim with cheese and only two pieces of chorizo and mushroom respectively. Pretty good Argentinian empanadas, in a no-frills location that's great for casual eating.

You order the individual empanadas from their assorted menu, which is nice because it means that whether you are only a little hungry or starving, you can order exactly as much as you want to eat, and all their empanadas are delicious. Our favorites are fugazzetta and mushrooms, and the eggplant empanada.
