Awful experience and zero welcoming courtesy towards specially Indian or Asian, I felt like I was not welcomed, but when I saw some French people visited the restaurant, they were warmly welcomed and the candle was lit in their table along with free or complementary papadum with chutney while food is being made, i was not given nothing. I mean this kind of gratitude is biased and done open when you pay for the bill and the average bill is around 30-40€ which is overpriced according to the taste of the food and presentation. Awful experience, if you are Indian or Desi, don’t ever come to visit this restaurant, not worthy at all and even if you are western foreigners, it’s not the place to try and enjoy Indian cuisine. The food was not very poor, it was eatable but it’s not worthy for that price. 22€ for one curry where it’s so oily. No recommendation at all. One message to the owner- don’t treat your guest biased. Everyone pay the same bill. If you open your restaurant in Europe. Admire the European values at least or otherwise just put a sign board in front of your restaurant, Indians are not welcome. Paid 43€ for one curry, one appetizer and drink. Overpriced and there was no sauce with samosas, Are you serving indian cuisine? Only garlic naan was good. If review had -1 star, I would have given rating in minus. Not worthy at all!!!!

Very very very tasty food. Must try.. When I entered the restaurant I was not so impressed and couldn't believe that they could deliver this yummy food. I tried tandoori paneer and chicken tandoori. The taste and presentation of the dish was superb. Even the chicken biryani was also yumm specially the gravy they gave along with that biryani was just awesome. We tried one chicken gravy with naan also. And the reason I started loving Brugge is also this place India tandoori. I love this restaurant and visit agian

If there were an option for no star I would have given that. They don’t even serve the tap water. We have to compulsory take the mineral water. That even not mineral at all they refill it with tap water. The night was After dinner we wanted to take this bottle (for remaining water) with us as I needed to take medicine and he refused to take the bottle with us. I paid 8 euros for that see the given bill. The server was very rude all the time.

[EN] Worst Indian place I've been so far in Europe. 1h waiting (only 4 people total were awaiting food), "vegetable rice" is just the "rice with raisins" + a couple green peas. The owner advised us to order more food than we would eat in order to just charge us more. When I paid, told him this was all a fraud/con, and he acknowledged very calmly that if I thought so I should probably publish all of this. Will never come again here, but hey, you shouldn't either.

Experience: I've experienced the food here more than a few times. Pretty tasty and made to order so it's not a run in and out place. Owner is quiet and takes pride in his work clearly. Not the most outgoing guy but he is welcoming.

Environment: Cozy restaurant just off the beaten path that provides a nice environment for couples and families without the touristy feel. Owner was eager to share his story of decades of running this family owned Punjabi establishment, which is apparently the only one that has lasted 20 years or so. Decor is just your typical mom and pop style. Some days I've seen it packed, and others it's just constant and quiet.

Price: Cost of meals are on par with anywhere else in Bruges city center, if not less.

Food: From my experiences in south Asia, I'd say this place is a good choice for authentic Indian fare in Bruges. I reccomend the Samosas mint chutney to start and get "1001 Nights" to drink if you like strong drinks. Food is served in some pretty neat clay pots and kept on a warmer on the table. Roti/Naan is made fresh to order as well.

**Some of the other comments talked about how rude he was. I never have seen this and actually see only the opposite. The owner was kind to all the customers to...
