Our disappointment came from the way we, as guests, were treated. Four of us visited the cafĂ© and were initially welcomed and seated where we wanted. The waiter was helpful at first, and our plan was to have a meal. However, after reviewing the menu, not all of us found something that matched our preferencesânot due to any fault of the menu itself, but simply because of personal expectations. As a result, we decided to have a quick drink and eat elsewhere afterward. Three of us ordered drinks, and one person chose not to. Unfortunately, this seemed to upset the waiter, who then told usârather rude âthat everyone must place an order and that in Belgium, you cannot just sit without consuming. We left. We understand and respect local customs, but the tone and approach were unacceptable. . A more courteous explanation would have made all the difference, or in the end, nothing would happen if 1 person stays without order..especially when there were a lot free space. Your cafe is located in a nice place in beautiful Brugge and wonât suffer from this reference, but still you must maintain highest level of service every minute and everywhere thus all guests if Belgium will get excellent emotions and spread positive feedback about people...
Read moreïŒupdatedïŒ I was so shocked when I received the store's comments. I didn't expect that someone could confuse right and wrong to this extreme extent. It's surprising how they could misinterpret the situation and say we insulted the clerk. However, the truth is they didn't treat us politely. It's truly astonishing. I hope we recorded the situation so that everyone knows what happened, but I can't. I just hope the waiter will be less racist to Asian people in. the future. Thanks!
The waiter is sooo rude. Maybe the rudest waiter I met in Belgium. As an Marginalized person, I strongly felt the arrogance and toughness of the waiter when he treated me. I believe that any empathetic and intelligent person in under representative group can feel this unspoken unfairness. Fortunately, Iâm an influencer with 100k followers, and already talked to fans to avoid this store. Will NEVER come...
Read moreThis is my favourite restaurant EVER. I am not usually one to leave reviews, but this place is worth it. We were looking for a cafe to hide from the rain, and we stumbled across Paradise. And paradise it was! First of all, the interior is gorgeous, both upstairs and down. Large exposed beams in the ceiling, plenty of light, and a glass ceiling downstairs. The owners are the sweetest ever, and you can watch them making the food right in front of you. All of the food is homemade, including the perogies, which are divine. Quite simply the best perogies I have ever had (not kidding) We started chatting, and they were kind enough to give us complementary Turkish tea prior to leaving. Cannot recommend enough, and will...
