Postbar — Restaurant in Bruges

Great coffee, nice decor, friendly staff, just one major minus - they don’t accept card payments. We had to find out when we finished our coffees and my husband had to go find an ATM which meant more than half an hour lost in search of the great ATM. In this day and time and in a very touristic European city, it seems mind blowing to me not to accept card payments. It's magical place, this postbar. The beautiful drawings on the wall, the nice and upbeat selection of well designed post cards and trinkets, the two wonderful and gorgeous people behind the bar, the phenomenal quiche that filled my tummy, the dark and delicious coffee that kicked me right up, ready to explore more of Bruges and surroundings. We had the pleasure of drinking cold lattes in the sun in front of the post bar today. It was delicious and a calm and comfortable atmosphere (very relaxing after making it through the crowded people packed city center), and the lady who served us was extremely warm and friendly.
