A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Brussels.... We stumbled upon Africalicious Quartier Européen almost by accident, but what a find it turned out to be! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality, something that’s surprisingly rare in Brussels. The staff were not only friendly but also incredibly attentive, with an eye for detail that made the whole experience feel personal and authentic. Now, let’s talk about the food, absolutely spectacular. Every dish we tried was rich in flavor, well-executed, and beautifully presented. You can taste the love and tradition in every bite. Whether you're already a fan of African cuisine or new to it, there's something here that will surprise and delight you. I absolutely loved their spicy sauce. And the cocktails? Next level. Rum-based and expertly crafted, each one was a tropical escape in a glass. Seriously, whoever is behind the bar deserves a medal. They were some of the best cocktails we’ve had in Brussels, bold, inventive, and dangerously drinkable. On top of all that, the pricing was very reasonable for the quality and experience offered. Great value, especially in a city where quality doesn't always match the bill. All in all, Africalicious is a refreshingly vibrant and soulful spot that stands out in the EU quarter. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommended!

Tried this African restaurant and had a nice experience overall. We ordered the mixed platter of fried foods, which was good especially the fried bananas, which were everything! The rest was okay, except for the fried wings, which were too dry. The highlight was the beef and mango dish with coconut rice absolutely delicious! We also got the famous burger with fried sweet potato, and it was very good. The location is nice, and the seating is simple, but the service is extremely slow. Our fried food took almost 25 minutes, and then we had to wait even longer for the next dishes. Only one staff member was handling both service and reception, which wasn’t ideal. If the restaurant gets busier, it could be chaotic. Overall, the food was good, but they really need to improve the wait time

100 percent would not recommend this spot if you like good food, good service, professionalism and good vibes.

My friend and I visited Afrolicious on the evening of August 18th, 2025, and we left completely disappointed.

First of all, the service was shockingly unprofessional. The place was nearly empty, yet the server acted like he couldn’t be bothered. No smile, no engagement, and not once did he check in with us to ask if we were enjoying our meal. It honestly felt like we were a burden just by being there.

We started with chicken wings and samosas. The wings were cold, dry, and completely lacking in flavor – not even a basic dipping sauce offered. The samosas were the only mildly decent part of the meal.

For mains, we ordered the Kamer Burger and Poulet Mayo. Nowhere on the menu did it clearly state that the burger comes with sweet potato fries. My friend doesn’t like sweet potatoes and told the server – who simply took the fries away and never bothered to suggest or offer a replacement. Just more indifference.

The Poulet Mayo was a greasy, salty mess – almost inedible – and once again, the sweet potato fries served with it were cold and soggy.

All in all, this was one of the worst dining experiences we've had in Brussels. Between the uncaring service and subpar food, Afrolicious is definitely not the place to go if you're looking for a pleasant night out or good African cuisine. Save your time and money –...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Africalicious in Quartier Européen, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The food was absolutely delicious – every dish was bursting with flavor and clearly prepared with care. The variety and authenticity of the cuisine truly stood out.

The staff was another highlight of the evening. They were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always making sure we felt at home and had everything we needed. Their warm attitude added to the positive vibe of the restaurant.

The location is beautifully designed and well-maintained, creating a stylish yet cozy atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. It’s clear a lot of thought has gone into making the space inviting and comfortable.

However, the only downside to our visit was the wait time. Unfortunately, we had to wait nearly an hour for our food to arrive. While it was worth the wait for the quality of the dishes, it did slightly impact the overall experience, which is why I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5.

If you’re looking for amazing African cuisine in a welcoming and beautifully curated setting, Africalicious is definitely worth a visit – just be prepared to wait a bit...
