We went to this restaurant as a group of three and ordered four appetizers. However, just as we had barely started eating, the owner approached us and rudely asked, “Aren’t you going to order any drinks?” We were shocked by both his timing and his tone. We responded that if this was not acceptable, it should have been communicated beforehand. But instead of handling the situation professionally, he continued to be extremely rude.
He even told us, “This will be your last time here.” Of course, after this treatment, we didn’t want to stay any longer and told him we wanted to leave. Strangely, he insisted that we stay and eat, even though we clearly said we wanted to leave. He kept saying odd things like, “There are many waiters here, you can’t just eat appetizers,” as if we were obliged to order more.
We only wanted to eat what we ordered and pay for it, nothing more. You can’t force customers to buy things they don’t want. Despite our wish to leave, he refused to give us the bill. So, we left some cash on the table and walked out.
Absolutely do not go to this place. Every single negative review is accurate. If you still want to try and have a “satisfying experience,” here’s what you’ll have to do: • Order whatever they want you to eat. If you only want appetizers, you will be treated with discrimination and forced to order more. • Even if someone comes and treats you rudely mid-meal, trying to upsell you in the most aggressive way, you’re expected to keep eating. • Even if they throw you out and say you’re not welcome again, you’re apparently...
Read moreI liked this place and i will definitely go back. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is very nice and the price is worth it for the generous portion. i suggest their signature dishes, but the mezzes and the gyros and the salads looked amazing too. I would have enjoyed it a bit more if the service guys were a bit more positive, smiling maybe, not so cold and grumpy. they really looked annoyed. and something else i didnt like is the fact that they offer almost NOTHING to their guests in the meantime that the dishes are being prepared. We were left waiting for our order for more than 30min and the only thing they offered was bread, thats it. I dont think it would be a big financial loss for the restaurant to offer their guests some olives, or butter or some kind of appetizers from the house... i didn't appreciate this approach therefor only 4 stars...
Read moreThis was our very first restaurant experience in Brussels — and what a great way to start our trip! After a late arrival, we checked into our hotel, dropped our bags, and set out in search of a recommended place. With the wind and rain going wild outside, we decided to stop by a cozy spot just around the corner — and we’re so glad we did! My wife ordered the calamari, while I chose a classic Greek chicken dish. Both portions were generous and the flavors truly hit the spot. The restaurant was packed and full of energy, so we were pleasantly surprised to find a table without waiting too long. A special shoutout to the root beer — definitely a must-try if you’re skipping alcohol. 🍻 Overall, this was a wonderful first dinner in Brussels. After such a warm and satisfying experience, our first impression of the city’s food scene couldn’t have...
