Egò ristorante-pizzeria — Restaurant in Brussels

That was one of the most awkward dining experiences in my life.

We arrived at 20:00 sharp, ordered drinks, an entrée, and two pizzas. We received the drinks and entrée around 20:15. However, we then waited an hour... for one of the two pizzas. Yes, you understood correctly! The first pizza arrived at 21:15, so I had to watch my girlfriend eat for 15 minutes before my pizza came too.

On top of that, no one asked us how the meal was going, not even once. The waitress was just picking up the plates in silence. No questions, nothing, just plain awkwardness.

The food was sadly not worth the wait. it was good but not exceptional. The tomato sauce was on the acidic side, and the other ingredients were okay at best.

They made us pay full price even though the service was catastrophic (just to be clear, we didn't ask for a discount, but when an establishment messes things up that badly, we shouldn't have to ask).

While leaving, one of the waitresses, instead of saying goodbye, quickly turned her back on us.

Good luck to the tatted-up waiter! He had to come and ask us what our order was and apologize for the delay. He stayed really friendly and made sure we got some food at the end. If it weren't for him, I would have given...

but what happened to this place ?? it used to be such a nice place. after not coming here for a couple of months, we went back and the place is nothing like it was before. the service is ridiculously inattentive. they mess up your orders, bring you things you don’t order instead. when they don’t have something they don’t come back to tell you that they don’t have it, but just instead bring something else you didn’t order. now , the pizza. the pizza isn’t great anymore, both in terms of dough and ingredients. what happened? please solve the issues with extremely incompetent and amateurish waiters and the quality of pizzas asap, this is really a very big disappointment to see such a nice place in such...

Pizzas were great, tasty and arrived quickly, however unfortunately our waiter was a bit careless, and did not pay enough attention although restaurant was not busy. He took our water glasses when we ordered an aperetivo and when we ordered water he did not bring glasses, we had to take glasses from the other table. My aperetivo glass had a hair in it. We asked for menu for dessert and he forgot to bring it, my friend took the menu to our table. When dessert arrived one cutlery/fork was missing.
