The sandwiches are made fresh to order with good quality bread and fillings. The product’s source and production tops the standards of food providers and nutrients. I like the Hollandais sandwich which has beef and horseradish as its fillings. You can sit outside too. The staff are always extremely efficient and friendly.

One thing I admire and -probably- making me biased is that Jean Bon is one of the only businesses I know that haven’t raised the prices of their products since post-COVID. Definitely shows that there are other ways to confront inflation than reverberate in the consumer. That ethical approach is a “must’ for me when it comes to restaurants.

Often busy around lunch time but even when people are lining up outside the wait is never long. I have never waited more than 5 minutes despite the 30-meter queue on the street.

I go regularly with my dog and can say that this is one of the most pleasant places to buy while walking with your dog. The staff is particularly cooed at her or offered dog biscuits and water. It is her happy place/shop already!

Again, the service is exceptional. I do buy sandwiches from the other Jean Bon’s, but the attitude and complicity in Rue de Namur make those baguettes even more delicious. The staff behind the counter are super friendly and take a level of pride in their work, that you don’t see in the food industry these days.

Wouldn’t recommend it...

Stopped here for a coffee and a sit down and found ourselves having the loveliest time. We sat in the window, on little cork stools whilst drinking our coffee and watching the world pass by. The coffee was wonderful. Smooth and delicate. Afterwards we decided to get baguettes, I chose Le Bleu and my partner chose the Le JeanBon Fraimage to takeaway. Honestly, one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten. They wrap the sandwich up to go and provide napkins. If you like blue cheese then get the Le Bleu, don't be put off by the sweet elments of the pear and biscoff. It's such a balanced sandwich and absolutely delicious. The classic JeanBon Fraimage is egg, meat and cheese with rocket, tomatoes and mayonaise. The staff were super friendly and let me try out some of my terrible French when ordering but spoke English too to help me out. If you love cheese, a relaxed environment and excellent coffee then look no further....

Great little find while walking through Brussels! Sandwich was delicious (I had the IL Parmigiano), it had wonderful flavors.

I didn’t see any menus in English outside, but if you walk in and ask the staff is super kind and they have them. Menu was easy to understand and they had a ton of good options.

Great place to stop for a quick bite, only complaint (as an American who is used to large servings) is the toppings (meat, cheese, veggies) felt a little slim. I think this is pretty normal in Europe, so probably just...

First time I try anything of them. So I started with a cheese and ham sandwich. The price might be a bit higher than Panos but you get a way better meal than them. Its balanced, tasty and fills you up. Also they make them incredibly fast and in front of you, so you know its fresh. I highly recommend trying one if their sandwiches. I don’t think you will regret it.
