Meet Meat Schuman — Restaurant in Brussels

Fantastic food!!!... The meat was absolutely scrumptious! Empanadas for starters reminded me of those of my south American aunt, who has never been shy with spices, a double thumb 👍 up for the cook(s). The sauces with the meat where delicious (green pepper and béarnaise... and more, try them). Dessert, the moelleux is a safe bet, full of gooey goodness. The "Copa Argentina" is something more special and as satisfying and finger licking as a really good Irish coffee, but different and flavored with a unique and delightful shot of rhum... Just another steakhouse, that completely fails to do proper steaks. My steak had a core temperature difference of at least 20 °C on both sides. They just seem to do it in a too fast way without care to cook it evenly. It took forever to complain about it. In the meantime the temperature of my steak droped too fast on a non-hot plate to safe it in a fast way, but I returned it anyway, as it did not had my desired doneness and I cannot eat it that way. And of course the result was as expected: even more dry on the outside and still very uneven in the middle. They also don’t manage to make a proper crust on the outside. Additionally the steak did not had a good taste anymore after this fast attempt to safe it: A burned taste and a smell of dried blood...

It's an amazing place, the service is A1, very very good. The Argentinian empanadas are very good, like the ones from Argentina, the meat was cooked perfectly and very good taste, but with too much nerves, still very very good. So everything was great until the desserts with Ice cream. The Ice cream quality is very bad, too much water in the mix that makes it completely out of sync with the place, I think that maybe they are using that the Ice cream provider because of the Dulce de leche flavor, but in my opinion, I prefer a very good Ice cream with dulce de leche than a very bad dulce de leche or...
