L'Intermezzo — Restaurant in Brussels

One of the best places for fresh italian pasta in the center of Brussels, near the Monnaie/Munt. I usually go there at least once per month, for lunch, and I've never been disapointed.

The menu is on the wall inside. Only fresh pasta, all kinds, perfectly cooked (al dente), and fast service. For spaghetti-like pasta, a bib is even provided! Dishes between 10 and 15€. A glass of wine will cost about 5€.

We are very picky when it comes to pasta and Italian food - but this a family’s favorite and may well be the best Pastas in Brussels.

The service is classic Italian style, no polishing, yet efficient and quick.

The Pastas are perfectly cooked, sauces balanced and they make sure you do not spill on your shirt.

It's not the cosiest interior, but the food is amazing and the service is superb! If you want to taste a real Italian pasta, or real Italian bruscetta and charcuterie (freshly sliced!), this is the place to be. Especially in terms of price-quality, it's difficult to find better.
