Food - The soup is usually good but if you take the chicken Caesar salad, be sure to inspect it and ensure it has chicken in it, not just croutons. In general, almost everything here is very carb-heavy.
Also, they are not clear about charging customers for a sachet of olive oil. The sachets sit at the counter and do not have a price label. Yet one unpleasant woman informed that I had to pay extra for a sachet because my salad already came with vinaigrette. FYI, vinaigrette and olive oil are two different things but if you’re going to charge for something then be clear about it and display the price.

Read moreThis café / sandwich bar is located at Rue du Luxembourg, not terribly far from the European Parliament. I stumbled across it on my way to the Parliament and since I was way early decided to have a cup of tea and it was a very nice cup of tea at €2.50.
They have amble space, which makes it a nice place to be. There is very good WiFi (Password: WeLoveFood! - October 2017) and the baristas make sure you are welcome and truly make the place a four star, over a three star.
I used to have a "local" near the Parliament, but I think next time I'll ask my colleagues to meet me there.
