TAPATAT — Restaurant in Brussels

Never had a worse experience in all my travels throughout Europe. My sister and I visited the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon purely based off the great reviews it had.we arrived and asked before we sat down to make sure it was alright. We only ordered 1 dish to share as we weren’t super hungry and didn’t want to waste food. when we ordered, our server basically yelled at us for only ordering 1 dish and told us we should’ve informed her and it is disrespectful to the business because we were two people sitting at a small square table with 3 chairs. She then proceeded to ask us to move to another table given all the tables are the exact same size ours just happened to have an extra chair. Their was also a gentleman sitting next to us, just 1 person enjoying his 1 meal at a table with 3 chairs. By the time we finish (10 minutes) their was 4 empty tables with plenty of room for other people to sit and enjoy. Food was yummy but after the confrontation we almost just walked up and left. [Aug '22] The restaurant is specialized in baked potatoes with different (abundant) toppings, although salads, wraps or beagles with the ingredients used for the topping are also served.

We tried two vegetarian dishes: the first one with feta chese and caramelized onion (15€) and the other with soy beans, mango and much more (18€). Both delicious.
