I won't be talking about their food coz I honestly never ate anything from them. I never leave negative reviews for small businesses but this was so disgusting and outrageous that I have to speak up! If they'll reply that this is a lie don't believe it, there were many people who witnessed it!!!! so GAY PRIDE 17 May 2025, TIME 15:24 (adding a pic of my receipt so you don't say it is a lie), it is normal that people come to ask to the toilet. Will say this, normally in Brussels practically any place allows to go to the toilet for 0.5 ct - 1 euro depending on a place, if you are not a customer. By PRIDE it always costs 1 euro for a toilet anywhere. So these people decided to force people to buy unnecessary soft drinks/water from them!!! I was disguised by this behavior, I was forced to buy water for 3.40 euro that I didn't need at all, this was the most expensive toilet visit!!! When I pointed out that it is a not nice that they force people to buy drinks, they said you can leave if you don't like!!! As a person who wanted to pee so bad couldn't go anywhere else I was forced to accept!! I would have accepted even 1.5 euro for the toilet, it would have been a toilet price. Some will disagree with me and say it is just a drink, for me I hate that for service like toilet they force me to buy from them!!! some people accepted and bought, waited in the line for the toilet, some left disgusted by this behavior. Guess what??? The pride is over and we live here, I made sure to tell everyone I know about this. * REPLYING TO THE ANSWER of this place! I won't go into any arguments, this is my last adding. First of all, I don't know who are those ''YOU'' Because I was following the parade, I didn't buy any alcohol anywhere and I didn't have even one sip of alcohol at that timing at all! I was 100% sober and had 1 liter of water on me which is why I didn't need your water. Immediately judgy presuming I was drunk. I always go during parade and normal days to toilets to different bars and restaurants, always paid 1 euro and I was never turned down even 1 time. The only reason I went to your place is because we were coming from above the street where there was simply no bar to go to ask for a toilet and I couldn't wait anymore. Concluding this: you are absolutely right, as a cafe you have the right not to let anyone to the toilet - TRUE! I deeply regret I went there. Another TRUTH - I am entitled to have my own opinion, which I just expressed! Good luck

Let's be honest: navigating life in a foreign country can be challenging, particularly when you don't speak the local language. One might expect that courtesy is an essential requirement when dealing with customers, especially for those in charge. Unfortunately, the service at this establishment in Brussels has been the most disappointing we've encountered. Despite ordering Pizza and Salad, the service was inferior. The focus seemed to be more on charging €1 for the restroom, which was unclean. While it's common in the EU to charge for restroom use, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene should be a priority, or at the very least, showing courtesy to patrons. Witnessing firsthand how they treated customers was genuinely disheartening. They appeared to be selective about whom they were polite to, which is unacceptable in the food service industry. The fundamental rule in this line of work is to treat everyone with kindness, as ultimately, all customers contribute equally with their money.

My visit to TM Food maker in Brussels was a delightful experience! The service was top-notch, and the staff were incredibly polite and attentive throughout my time there. However, the true highlight of the visit was their excellent fries. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and perfectly seasoned, they were simply irresistible. I couldn't get enough of them! The overall ambiance of the place was pleasant, creating a comfortable atmosphere to enjoy my meal. If you're in Brussels and craving some delicious fries with great service, I highly recommend visiting TM Food maker. Their excellent food and polite staff will leave you with a satisfied and happy belly!

Huge tourist trap

Bought a chicken burger menu: food was stale, seemed like it was cooked hours in advance and only reheated. No taste to either the chicken or the fries, also tasted bad. Came by very hungy and couldn't even bring myself to finish half the burger. Bathroom was also deplorable. Wet floor near the uncleaned toilet, no soap, looked dirty and unsanitary, while the hand dryer was not working either and tissues were not provided. All in all, very disappointing experience considering the really good previous reviews.

Edit: Seeing that the owner responded I will add on to this review. The staff offered to prepare another burger indeed, but I could not accept it after being utterly disgusted by the first one. It was not only the chicken that was bad, every single ingredient in the burger seemed stale, from the cheddar, sauces, vegetables. Even the side of fries fit the same description. If everything tastes bad, not only a batch of chicken, of course I will not be willing to continue the bad experience with another one. The owner also apparently has the audacity to call me arrogant, after his staff came asking us to leave a review at the end, I did as asked and then when they came back to complain about the review, I simply dismissed them by saying I don't want to try anything else from this disappointment of an establishment. That does not make me arrogant, just honest. To add on to this, the beef burger that my friend tried was also a walking complaint, same exact story with other stale ingredients, it's just thst he could not be bothered to also write a review if I was already doing it.

Regarding the "you will never be happy" comment that the owner left, I am afraid that this is the first 1 star review I have ever left after hundreds of restaurants I visited mind you, which means that it had to really be terrible to make me do this. Also PSA to the owner: it's very distateful to act like this with a paying...
