However, there is one major drawback: they only accept cash. In today’s world, where card payments are the norm, this is quite disappointing. It's inconvenient for many customers, including myself, who would prefer the ease of paying by card. If they accepted card payments, I would literally come every day to enjoy their fantastic sandwiches.

In conclusion, Vespa Caffè offers some of the best Italian sandwiches you can find, with great variety and incredible taste. The only downside is their cash-only policy, which is a significant inconvenience. Despite this, the quality of the food makes it worth a visit, but I do hope they consider accepting cards...

I decided to write this review after going there several times and each time leaving with the firm resolution never to come back. Few months after, however I forget the resolution and I go back and I am immediately reminded why I should never go there. The staff is the most unfriendly staff I ever encountered in Brussels and this feeling is confirmed every time I go there. They seem to be on a crusade against clients in a very aggressive and impolite way and with zero interest to address client needs. Last time I we there they indicated in a very rude way that if you take coffee you are not allowed to go upstairs (even though upstairs was empty and we were going to carry ourselves the coffee upstairs); then they picked up on another client who started to eat the sandwich inside because of heavy rain outside again telling the client to go out as it was a take away order. Somehow among all the places in the area I find it amazing that this is the only one with such aggressive and unfriendly attitude to clients. Food may be good but quality of service is...

This is an Italian canteen type snack mainly catering to the office workers of the European district. They offer amongst others really tasty Italian style sandwiches.

Vespa Caffè is known for its misleading pricing system.

There are two prices: (1) take away. (2) eating on the spot.

The prices advertised on the price list are the prices for take away. Those prices are reasonable. However if you eat inside several euro's are added to the bill. As a result you will pay a bill which is above the average European district market rate.
