Ordered : Jambon de Parme et Burrata Orecchiette Ragi Salsiccia et Creme de Parmesan Strozzapreti Creme de Pistaches et Saucisse
The Parma Ham and Burrata with tomatoes and rocket leaf are fresh and refreshingly delicious.
The pastas were cooked perfectly al-dente and the sauces, stunning: full of nuanced flavors and yet well-balanced.
Of the two, I would say the Orecchiette with the Meat and Tomato Parmesan ragu is more my favorite (but that's mostly because I'm personally more partial to tomato based sauces). But the Strozzapreti with the Pistachio Cream and Sausage is also very creamy and nuttily delicious and not at all overly rich.
Overall, the buonissimo food, the cute and homey restaurant, and the smiling welcome of the husband and wife team makes this neighborhood gem one of the best Italian food spots...
