Tutti Pizzeria - Merode — Restaurant in Etterbeek

I went there for the 1st time today and had a Margherita pizza for 8€. When I arrived and ordered, I received my pizza after a few seconds only. When I asked whether it had been cooked before I ordered, they said, yes, a client had just canceled and the pizza was fresh from the oven. I believed them, so I took it. Still: a good shopkeeper would have asked me if I was OK with a pizza that had been cooked before my arrival and for a different client. A very good shopkeeper would have offered a small symbolic price reduction or a free drink to thank the client that the pizza doesn't have to be thrown away. But they didn't say anything and it felt like they didn't want me to notice. I'm sure this wasn't their intention; the restaurant might simply want to pay more attention to their communication. Otherwise, taste was better than expected. Price...

I had been curious about this place for a while. Tried their margherita and was not impressed at all. The sauce and the mozzarella were nothing special and the dough was way too thick and chewy. I suppose the good part about it is that it fills you up, but that's about it. I got no satisfaction at all from eating my pizza. Even price wise, they are not that competitive.
