Holy heck, this place is a treat! When we walked in, I needed a minute to admire all they had to offer. I ended up buying a tonload of pastries (all of them delicious!). I was especially intrigued by their sausage-roll croissant, and this one also did not disappoint! Probably the best bakery in Ghent and surroundings!

La mia visita a Bloche si è rivelata piuttosto deludente. Durante i miei primi giorni a Gand, attratta dall'aspetto invitante della panetteria in stile francese, ho deciso di provare. Appena entrata, sono rimasta colpita dai prezzi, decisamente sopra la media rispetto all'offerta. Ho optato per una sfoglia con formaggio e besciamella, ma purtroppo il sapore e la consistenza non hanno soddisfatto le mie aspettative. Sebbene l'ambiente sia indubbiamente curato e piacevole, ritengo che la qualità dei prodotti debba essere all'altezza dei prezzi proposti. Spero che Bloche prenda in considerazione questo feedback per migliorare l'esperienza dei clienti.

Just simply the best bakery in town. They have been around forever and I have the impression that this is one of the rare places where everyone is still proud of their products. Phenomenal bakery, everything is made fresh and with passion for the craft. This is a traditional bakery I visit multiple times a week and never has one of their products disappointed me.
