I was feeling miserable on the day I decided to have lunch at the place. Thought the food would cheer me up but left feeling much more miserable than before. First of all the price you pay is expensive for a dry bagel with no taste. I’m a small person and not one with big appetite so the size was okay for me BUT I can imagine that someone with a normal appetite would leave the place unfulfilled and hungry. I ordered a salmon bagel and the toppings on it were quite questionable, it was the driest food I’ve eaten in ages. Didn’t like it when the waiter came by to take our orders as we were still looking at the menu, it felt like we were being rushed to make a decision. We wanted to pay in cash but the restaurant decided to be “pro capitalist” or whatever, we were told it’s debit only. As I was in the depths of misery upon paying that much for the worst bagel I’ve eaten, I spotted a dead mouse in the corner of the restaurant (indoors). If they cared enough to swipe down the floors, we wouldn’t have seen it as customers. 1/5 for hygiene for obvious reasons… ps: it’s been 9 hours since I’ve eaten at the place and my stomach has never been this upset...
Read moreI love Oats Day Long, but had an experience this week that made me question if I will ever go back. Ordered the omelette bagel, which is normally my go-to. Received a terribly cut, cold bagel missing half the toppings. No melted cheese (just 2 small lumps of hard cold cheese), no sauce, no greens. I let the server know (she was very friendly) and the sauce and greens were added, but the egg and cheese were still ice cold, and the avocado they added had gone bad (it was completely black and had a bad flavor). The whole bagel tasted a bit like mussel juice? It was honestly disgusting, and while the service and ambiance is great, I find it appalling that they are charging €10 for a bagel like the one I received. Maybe stick with their coffees because I can no longer...
Read moreI am very disappointed with the food nowadays. The bowl I ordered (banana porridge) was not only so much smaller than before, but also cold and pretty much tasteless. The porridge itself was very sticky and dry because it was full of peanut butter and no ‘super seeds’ present. It used to be more watery and easier to eat/swallow that way. There was a bit of banana, but it felt like the whole dish came right out of the fridge. When I asked the people about it, they said they could reheat it a bit in the oven but couldn’t do much more, they did give me a...
