We went there for dinner with friends and 2 kids (1 Baby). The hospitality and service was very poor. They never checked on our table if everything was ok or if we need something else. We didnt get a baby chair as they only had one in the hole restaurant and it was already occupied with someone else. So we needed to sit our 1,5 year old on a chair. We ordered a soup and fries for the kids, which we wanted to have earlier with the appetiser’s but they brought it with the main dishes 1 h later ! So we cancelled the soup cause it took too long already. It’s definitely not a kids friendly restaurant, cause the owner came over to our table to say that our kids need to be quiet with some rude hand gestures, that can not be accepted as we were guests there too and how can you say ‚ please don’t laugh loud or stay quiet to an 1,5 year old‘? So definitely disrespectful and unacceptable behaviour. Despite all of that the food was not more than average, I have been to much better italian restaurants. And also they wanted to charge us for the very belated soup, but we resisted so they accepted it...
Read moreWe had a very friendly waiter and the food was delicious, but it's a shame we were pushed to go away during our dessert. We were on time and ordered dessert at the end. At dessert, we immediately got the bill, which is already not so common in Belgium, so we felt pressure right away. We were told several times to leave because the next group was there. We were only there for 1h30. There was no mention in advance that there was a "time limit". Only at dessert... Some did not even manage to eat their dessert completely. Don't let people order dessert then... It is easy to make money that way of course. Making people pay for a way too pricey dessert only to chase them away. Very unfortunate. It would be better if they would let their customers know (when they book a table) that there is a time limit. Or just manage their...
Read moreUnless you are from Belgium and have no care in the world about what you put in your mouth and belly then I would strongly recommend not going there. Having lived in Italy for a while this is the furthest from Italian food you could ever find. The pizzas are like supermarket pizzas. They are clearly premade and then heated up in the microwave. You can feel it by how wobbly and chewy they are. It is truly a shame. On the other side, the people on your right might be eating fish with fries, which really screams italian restaurant of course. And the ones on your left are getting parmigiano poured over spaghetti with seafood by the waiter (THE thing italians would never allow). So all in all, it's a...
