We went here for lunch on a Sunday. We reserved a table the day before (it was very much needed!) and we sat outside for our lunch. The music that was playing was not too loud and it was lots of 80's music. Very nice. The price/quality is good in my opinion. It's not that cheap but the portion is a lot bigger than you would expect it to be! I had the buratta salad. It was super yummy! My friend had the American pancakes and she liked them as well. We both got the homemade ice tea of the week with strawberry, it had a nice taste but maybe a bit too sweet for my liking. The only complaint I have is that we did have to wait for about 50 min for our food. I think that is too long for what type of foods we had ordered. But the staff excused themselves and thanked us for waiting patiently. We had a lovely time...

This place is really cosy and the service is very friendly and helpful. It might get noisy due to the acoustic of the room. There's no menu outside the place to check what's available or the prices. We were unpleasantly surprised by the pricing of the food and drinks compared to the small amount of food we received. The food was of fine quality, but for us it was not mind-blowing good to justify the pricing. We were sceptical if the orange juice was really fresh as it had little taste which resembled the taste of bottled orange juice. The coffee was simply Nespresso coffee from a capsule, which depending on your taste is good or bad, but I'd personally prefer ground coffee in a breakfast restaurant which asks more than 3 euros for...

I visited Maison Dix to celebrate my birthday and we chose the high tea option. The service was good, although a bit slow. That said, the staff were very kind and helpful, and they even offered a vegetarian option for one of the guests, which we really appreciated.

Parking can be a bit tricky. There are private parking options in the center of Hasselt, but they are quite expensive.

The quality-price ratio is fair, and the food is really tasty. I definitely recommend it for friends’ outing, a nice breakfast, or a midday break—perfect after doing some shopping in Hasselt.

Important: it’s a good idea to book in advance, especially on weekends, as the place tends to...
