We took the Oishii menu of 99€/ person, after the miso soup that tasted delicious we had to wait way to long, the sushi that arrived where good but not to say special, the duck was also well made, as you can see on my pictures they are totally not comparable with what is presented on their website, one thing to mention is also as we where drinking a lot of sake, they even switched from wine without giving any notice, as we mentioned it to the waitress the owner confirmed us that he did not had any more of the wine we ordered so we received the general home wine... I could not find the "Oishii menu" on their website, i would think a menu with the name of the restaurant would be something that would be of more high class than what we got, would i go again? Probably yes for the nice atmosphere, but definitely not for the "Oishii menu".

This was booked by a work colleague that's into sushi and Asian tastes, so I happily went along. I found service fast and attentive - my beer and starter came fairly quickly, and my duck main appeared soon after that. There was quite a lot on the plate for the duck meal and it was fatty with crispy skin - delicious. The rice and salad complemented it well, but next time I won't bother with the starter and just stick to the main course. This feels as though several of you should order dishes to share in the middle, rather than select your own individual one. I can't comment on any other dishes as I didn't try them out, but based upon my first experience I'll certainly look at returning again.

I ended up getting sick after eating here The gyoza were good, and so was the melon cocktail. The sushi had too much rice and the fish had a little bit of an off-putting texture and temperature and a slight green sheen to it at some angles. There’s also a white dot in the sushi second from the right in my pic, I hope it wasn’t a parasite. I didn’t notice it until I was looking back at pics. I was hungry so just snapped a quick photo and started eating without giving it much thought because I had seen some good reviews and the environment was very nice. About three hours later I was stuck in the bathroom and feeling feverish.

Tried to eat here 4 separate times and each was a disaster or something went wrong. The first two times, we ordered takeaway and were told via phone that we could pay by card. Both times, when the delivery driver arrived, they insisted that it was cash only and refused to give us our food til we has cash on hand. One of these times, I had to go to the atm across town.

The third time, my order was wrong and had to be sent back after waiting more than 45 min for it to arrive.

The fourth and final time was today, Valentine's day. My partner and I made reservations for 6pm, a week in advance. By 7pm no one had come by to take our order. We talked to other nearby guests, who told us that they had all arrived between 5:30-6pm and had received the same treatment (so they waited an hour and a half). At this point, we walked out. We had tried to flag someone down to take our order and were told, "One second!!" And then proceeded to wait another 20 min. Meanwhile, as multiple customers approached the window to ask, a bunch of takeaway orders were being filled and prioritized over everyone who had made reservations to sit in the restaurant. I hope the others took our lead and walked out, too. We won't...

I had such a wonderful time spending with my friends in Hasselt and our visit to the restaurant Oishii was the best decision at the end of the day. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting—modern, stylish, yet cozy enough to relax and enjoy. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure everything was perfect without ever feeling rushed.

The sushi itself was absolutely delicious—fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Each piece felt carefully crafted, and you could really taste the quality of the ingredients. The variety on the menu made it easy to try both familiar favorites and some new, creative rolls that were delightful surprises.

Overall, it was the perfect combination of great food, relaxing ambiance, and friendly service. I’ll definitely be coming back soon and recommending this spot to friends who love sushi as...
