Trentanove — Restaurant in Hasselt

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tretanove, and overall, it was a delightful experience that I would highly recommend.Strengths:Location and Ambiance: The restaurant boasts a stunning location with an interior design that creates an incredibly charming atmosphere. The decor is thoughtfully curated, offering a perfect blend of modern elegance and cozy comfort, making it an ideal spot for both intimate dinners and larger gatherings.Food Quality and Presentation: The food at Tretanove is exceptional. Each dish is not only delicious but also beautifully presented, showcasing a level of refinement that enhances the dining experience. I sampled various appetizers, each one more delectable than the last, and the tomahawk steak was a highlight. It was enormous, cooked to perfection, and absolutely flavorful.Weaknesses:Desserts: While the desserts were visually appealing, they fell a bit short in terms of taste. I tried the mini chocolate cannelloni, and although they looked enticing, the flavor was somewhat underwhelming. It seems the desserts could use a bit more innovation to match the high standard set by the rest of the menu.Overall: Despite the slight disappointment with the desserts, Tretanove offers a fantastic dining experience with its beautiful setting and outstanding main courses. It's definitely worth a visit, and I look forward to returning. A solid four stars...

Wij kwamen op een donderdag eten voor mijn verjaardag. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen. Eens we aan tafel zaten moesten we erg lang wachten op de kaart en daarna nog eens erg lang tot ze de bestelling opnamen. We bestelden als voorgerecht de bruscettas van het huis. We vroegen of de bruscettas met vis vervangen kon worden aangezien mijn partner allergisch is. Dit kon. Toen de bruscettas aankwamen, leek het alsof er 2 met vis bijzaten. Ik vroeg vriendelijk of dat zo was. De dame van de bediening wandelde even naar de keuken en kwam ons vertellen ´geen zorgen, het is geen vis´. Voor de zekerheid nam ik de eerste hap en jawel hoor - het was zeker vis! Aangezien er geen ober meer langs onze tafel kwam, heb ik dan maar de hapjes met vis gegeten en mijn partner deze zonder. Erg jammer. Toen kwam het hoofdgerecht. Mijn pasta was correct maar mijn vriend kreeg een vegetarische pasta. We meldden dat hij pasta met spekreepjes bestelde. Als antwoord kregen we ´maar deze is ook zeer lekker hoor meneer´ en ze wou het bord al neerzetten. We konden onze oren niet geloven. We vroegen toch naar de juiste pasta en kregen deze gelukkig toch erg snel want hij stond blijkbaar wel klaar. Tot slot kregen we de rekening en deze was toch wel duur voor wat het was. Jammer, wij komen niet meer terug. We zijn een beter niveau gewend van...

I absolutely love the place, the ambiance, the atmosphère is very nice, the worker they are very friendly and the manager too, he offer us drinks before we left the restaurant. Food is delicous too, I had order osobuco. It was delicous but unfortunately it was bit cold, but most of there starters are delicous, the price also is bit expensive compare to some italian restaurant ...
