Wok Dynasty — Restaurant in Hasselt

If you like a bowl full of fruitflies this is DEFENITLY the place to go!

I have been to many other wok-all-you-can-eat restaurants but the quality here for the amount that had been paid was not worth it at all!

There was too much spoiled food! This shouldn't be the case at all.

Next to that we were seated at a place in the dark. When we asked for the lights to be turned on we got the answer "the system isn't working so we can't turn the lights on"

Instead of being a good host ( since this is what you're paid for) they just left us there until we asked ourselves to get a place with better lighting.

The drink prices were criminal!

For a liter of water in a re-usable glass bottle we paid 7,5€ !!! After some research we found they only paid 0,40€ for the contents of the bottle.

A profit margin of about 5€ after tax!!!!

This will be a little bit different review and normally I like this place as a restaurant + the people working there are nice and friendly (that's why 2 stars), but we are extremely disappointed in our "Too Good To Go" box. I guess they didn't have enough food to give away since the buffet is closed but then they should not participate in "Too Good To Go" . I really felt like this was more about trying to get profit wherever you can and less about food waste. We payed 5 euros per box and we got 80 % rice, 17 % veggies and 3 % meat. No variety whatsoever and definitely not worth it, as I said I felt like it's not food or plastic waste but making a profit charging 5 euros per box of rice. Modern interior and cozy place. Food was typical chinese buffet, it was nicely presented. Clean and fresh. The mushroom soup was great. Dessert buffet were ok, the chocolate fountain was the highlight of the buffet, the kids love it so much. The staff are friendly. The cocktails were ok, lots of ice rather than alcohol. The price ( 28 euro pp and kids until 12yrs half the price) was ok for the choices of food you get. I would give a 5 star if you can provide toys for kids rather those expensive vending machines. But of course I would recommend this place to families...
