MiTo Brugmann — Restaurant in Ixelles - Elsene

Left feeling dissapointed after dining in yesterday, to be honest. Service-wise; not good. They seemed understaffed, and stressed. Service was slow and it was difficult to order/get the staffs attention. Apparently they were 1 man short, so I get that service runs a little less smooth. But thats no excuse for unfriendly service. 1) we ordered sparkling water, which didn't come and clearly was forgotten. We mentioned this to the staff and they put still water on our tabel 15 mins later. When we mentioned that we ordered sparkling water, we got an eye roll and a big sigh and a bottle of sparkling got basically thrown on our table.2)"please be careful with your chair!!" Got yelled at my by a member of staff. I was sitting a measly 20 cm from the table... it felt unnecessary and very unfriendly. All in all staff seemed stressed out, unfocused and not customer oriented and it was VERY noticeable. Foodwise; also not amazing. My main (Campagnolo salad) was alright, but nothing special. Ordered bruscetta as a starter als it was a soggy, cold mess. Not tasty at all. Average experience at best

It was by accident that I ate here. I intentionally just wanted to drink a cappuccino, and boyfriend wanted to try the pastas. I took the tagliatelle with ragout of lamb, it was amazing!!! And I don't quickly say that. My boyfriend took (I don't remember the name of the pasta) a sort of big penne with sausage of black porc. His dish was not so full of flavour and rich like mine, but still it was delicious. We just had sparkling water with our food, so can't comment on the alcohol. Des notre arrivée on nous annonce qu’il manque un grand nombre de plat (5/6) ensuite lors de la prise de commande, pas certains plats et entrées demandés non plus, pas toutes les boissons. Serveur pas du tout agréable. L entrée, des bruschettas, risible (voir photo) une tranche de pain sec ultra fine, aucun croustillant, un pain mouillé (16€ l assiette). On se plaint, le responsable nous dit qu’on ne payera qu’une des 2 (nous ne voulions pas que ça aille à la poubelle) sinon il nous offre une burrata. Nous validons de payer une entrée des 2. Il fini par apporter la burrata (une simple burrata avec 2 morceaux d anchois et 3 feuilles de roquette, pas demandé et sans intérêt) la principaux pas incroyable mais correct. Le dessert Brioche avec crème diplomate et fruit rouge… plutôt brioche en sachet de chez Lidl avec crème fraîche en bombe et confiture de fruit 😑pas bon du tout. Fin du repas surprise, on nous facture une boisson demandé qu’il n’y avait plus, et les 2 entrées, le responsable nous dit qu’il ne va pas nous offrir 2 entrées… un accord avait été fait pour payer 1/2, il décide de nous « offrir » une burrata à 5€ et ne tient plus compte de l accord… aucune excuse pour tout ce qu’il manquait, aucun professionnalisme, un responsable désagréable des l entrée dans le restaurant.
