Antico Pizza - Hal5 — Restaurant in Leuven

Hands down the best pizza in Leuven (I love you to Piano A) if not all of Belgium. Antico would be a top spot even if they were in Napoli, it's that good! I'm glad you are open again, I hope you enjoyed the holidays! The pizza's I had tonight were maybe the best yet. Perfect.

Keep in mind, it is Neapolitan style, so please do expect that. I too also love Roma, Sicilian, good NYC style, New Haven (best pizza on Earth!), they are all different, so know that going in! I hate seeing negative reviews from people who just don't know what they ordered (wet, not crispy, sometimes fresh uncooked toppings, those are some of the things that make pizza from Napoli famous and it is delicious!).

Avoid this place at all costs. I placed an online order and when I arrived on time, they said - ah, we start with you order. 50 minutes later (with a few checks in between) my 3 pizzas were still not there, they “unfortunately” got lost in between other orders. The staff was completely disorganized and seemed clueless about what to do. When I asked for a refund, they said it wasn’t possible. No apology, no solution, just chaos and indifference.

We had to wait 2 hours for our food while people who had ordered after us were already being served. The pizzas were were very disappointing. Mine, the vegan pizza, had little to no flavour. When I asked the employees for some kind of spicy sauce, they told me that someone had taken the sauce and still hadn't returned it. Though this was hilarious to me at the time (I had already drunk a bottle of the delicious Urthel Samaranth), it wasn't very professional and didn't make my pizza any better.
