Casa-mia — Restaurant in Leuven

Well, well, well, if it isn't Casa Mia, the place where culinary dreams go to die! I had the pleasure of dining here recently, and let me tell you, I've had better meals at the DMV! I ordered three steaks cooked well-done with no blood, and what did I get? Three tasteless slabs of meat that were better suited for shoe leather! It's clear that the chef has never met a steak he couldn't ruin.

And don't even get me started on their name - Casa Mia? More like Casa Terrible! It's no wonder the food is so bad, with a name like that. I mean, who do they think they are? Trying to pass off this slop as authentic Italian cuisine? They should be ashamed of themselves.

To top it all off, they even forgot our lookbroodjes! I guess bread is too much to ask for from a place that can't even cook a steak properly. Do yourself a favour and skip Casa Mia - unless, of course, you're looking for a good laugh and a terrible meal. In that case, it's...

’d definitely pass on this place. It’s overpriced for what it is. I ordered the fillet medium rare—waitstaff couldn’t even tell me what cut of beef it was, and it came out well done. My friends ordered medium and got rare. The fries were stale, and the Béarnaise sauce was unpleasant.

One coworker ordered a pizza that looked downright miserable. It was so hard she couldn’t finish half, even though she was really hungry.

The service was slow, but to be fair, the waiters were clearly overwhelmed—just two of them trying to manage 30+ people. One of them even asked my coworker why he didn’t finish his steak, which showed he cared and was curious. It’s unfortunate, because the servers are doing their best. The real issue seems to be the kitchen—poorly executed food across the board.

I really fell in love with'this place from the first time I set foot in there.

I actually had dinner here on a Christmas Eve with my girlfriend for only €28!!! She had a spaghetti Blognese, I had a Marcaroni con carne and each 1 glass of white wine.

Where else can you have a fine dinner for two on Christmas eve for only 28€? I challenge anyone to fid anything better.
