I have had enough ! So I have decided to write this review I typically really enjoy this restaurant and the service provided but I have had enough ! I called this evening at 20:02 and had a girl on the line, she told me it was gonna be ready in 30 min so I decided to arrive at 20h35.. When I arrive this girl doesn't acknowledge me and is just looking at me I ask if my order is ready and the chef is saying that it will be done in 5 min (my sushi hadn't even been prepared so I had a hard time believing that) Time passes by and the woman of the restaurant tells me it will be done soon At not any given moment did this bubble head of a waitress reassure me of when it will be done.. I was loosing my patience.. little by little 😠 At 20h55 my food was still not ready and I was pissed of ! I waited almost 40 minutes for my food to be ready, at 21h04 i got my food When I complained to this dumbfounded waitress and said I had been waiting for 40 min this girl didn't react and just looked at me with her idiotic expression ! 😡
This is not the first time I have had to deal with her.. She even got my order wrong 😠 I asked for hoso maki not futo maki even tho I repeated what I wanted on the phone FIRE HER, she is unable to communicate clearly what kind of staff is this ??? She is USELESS ! Last time I tried to communicate with her and spoke English to her she said she didn't understand so I spoke Dutch and again looked at me with her dumbfounded face and didn't understand me 🙄
This evening she got me really angry.. I was angry even after I left the restaurant
In the near future I simply refuse to deal with this person It's the waitress with the long black braid
It's poor communication skills WHY would she say it's ready in 30 min if when I arrive at 20h35 my order hasn't even started to being prepared I would rather have her be honest and say that it will take more time
At no given moment she apologizes !!! It's simply unacceptable

Read moreThe food was okay, but the experience was bad and dramatic. We ate a stick in one sushi. It was extremely dangerous. There was blood in my friend’s mouth. When we showed it to them, they did not want to do anything but only apologized for not “seeing” it. We said that we didn’t want to pay for it, they agreed at first. But when we stepped out of the store, they stopped us and said they can only gave us 10% discount. During our discussion, there was a lady rushing out of the store and yelled “no discount” to us, she looked furious.😡 We didn’t want to make a scene and we really don’t care about 20/30 euro. But we believe it is our legal right to eat safely in a restaurant, not to worry about eating a stick. We made compromises, we said we can only accept paying for other dishes, but not the sushi boat. It took a while for them to agree. At the counter, they first wanted to charge us 20 euro, but the other two dishes were 13 euro. We talked again for a few minutes and settled for paying 13 euro. Read moreThe sushi itself is super tasty, I'm surprised every time by how high the quality is. This is probably my favorite sushi place in Leuven. It is also the most reasonably priced and has some really interesting and delicious rolls, for example the bulgogi roll. All ingredients are just much more flavorful than I've had anywhere else before. The shrimp fried shrimp roll is super tasty and the sauces they use are too.
They also use an appropriate amount of rice to complement the flavors of the roll, and even so the rolls are HUGE.
