This restaurant feels like home, beautifully decorated and has a great atmosphere. There is a woody aroma in the entrance, which is very nice. The service in the restaurant is very good. Before the meal, everyone had a small portion of onion soup and a basket of bread with butter. The bread was chewy on the outside and soft on the inside. It smelled delicious and was overall delicious. Then we ordered the appetizer platter and the main course. The appetizer was ordinary. For the main course, we ordered cod in saffron sauce with mashed potatoes, Belgian beef with French fries, and Gamba shrimp bacon coconut curry pasta. The main course portions were generous and the fish, beef, gamba, and bacon were well prepared. However, the fries that come with it are not authentic Belgian fries, their fries are very long and thin, like McDonald's fries. In addition, coconut curry pasta has a sweet taste and will become boring after eating it for a long time. In summary, it’s...

Almost 30-year-old, quaint French Belgian restaurant in a suburban residential neighborhood of Leuven. Interesting ambiance, perhaps a pharmacy before the restaurant...

The food was good, especially the Hamachi starter and the assortment of cheese at the end. The hare steak was reasonable and got better when eaten with the side, the red cabbage puree.

One interesting thing is that small starter soup was served with a small teaspoon, while a dessert in a cup with a small opening was served with a large spoon that didn't fit the opening. The latter was being eaten with the spoon's handle, we noticed. An interesting way to challenge cistoners or make the meal more fun if that was the intent!

Very popular restaurant, it appears, despite the location. While people were enjoying themselves, it was a bit noisy.

Good, but not quite 5 stars. More than 4, though, and...

Positives: Friendly staff, nice outdoor setting, ice cream portions.

Negatives: The menu pricing and supplement charges detracted from the experience. 6 people in a group and they made a fuss over the fact that 1 of our group didn't want the 'menu' option, although did agree in the end when we paid a supplement. They also made it difficult to ask for an alternative desert that wasn't on the 'menu' option - even they it was for...

An interesting experience and quite busy in a neighbourhood outside center Leuven. Their menu option was good and we enjoyed our evening there. Food was good, no big portions to feel too full. Typical Belgian brasserie and in the summer should be lovely to enjoy the terrace.
