Mama Wong — Restaurant in Leuven

Went once, and that'll be my last visit too. Ordered from her set lunch. We were the first table to arrive but only received our mains waaaay after other tables received theirs. Over a good one hour of waiting. My order of fried noodles were extremely salty, so, completely worth the wait.. NOT!!!

And don't get me started on the solo serving staff. From the second we stepped foot inside the door, she made zero effort to make us feel welcomed. In fact, she gives me the impression she hasn't received her salary for just a few centuries. No smile, just a constant look of annoyance as if we owed her a few million bucks. It was hot and stuffy inside, so we asked if she could switch on the A/C or fan but her reply was "are you really feeling warm?" face palm

Do NOT waste your time, money and energy checking this...

Excellent restaurant! We're used to eat Asian in many countries, and found our choices extremely fresh and tasty. My wife chose the vegetarian dish with Malaysian sauce, and I the duck with ananas, both delicious. All ingredients very fresh! Even the deserts are recommended.

The atmosphere is casual, and service very friendly. Our photos don't reflect how good this restaurant is, as it was early afternoon on a rainy day, but this Mama's Wong restaurant is worth our full...

Wow! Where do I start? First, this is a family business and you can taste their dedication to serve you as best as they can. Second, the food is DELICIOUS. Everything is FRESH and with the best quality ingredients. Even the kroepoek has a nice fresh taste. Thirdly, the atmosphere is very cozy and everyone is really friendly :).
